Nice relaxing place

In the heart of Palermo, this little coffe/shop serves a decent lunch and a better coffee while offering a great view and sense of a nice plaza.

We found this treasure on a morning spent wandering the lovely streets of Palermo Soho. The coffee was great and the pain au chocolat are AMAZING! So fresh and full of chocolate. This place became our "local", we went for coffee each morning, the staff were lovely too.

Smoked salmon with brown edges, lettuce way past its shelf life, soggy cold papas frites. Stay far away. The location is convenient but the food is plain awful!

We went for a dinner and we chose the "menu del dia": the food was worse than mediocre, and totally overpriced (150 arg. pesos for a course, a glass of average wine and a bad coffee). Not even good the service. Really a bad choice.

This is the perfect place on a nice summer evening. The place is always packed, so prepare yourself to wait about 15 minutes, have an aperitif on the comfortable couch, and hope, that you get a table on the balcony. We were there twice and always got to sit outside. The waiters are friendly (can be difficult in buenos aires),... More

Located in the heart of Palermo Soho on the edge of the very popular and touristy Plaza Serrano the Sans cafe is a pleasant surprise. The inside is charmingly decorated with cheerful colors and wooden furniture plus the sunny upstairs terrace has a great view of the Plaza. The clientele includes tourists and plenty of local Argentines. As the name... More

While we only dropped in Sans for a few drinks, we were surprised by the friendly staff, right on the square and so much to see. If there's the market - a must to crowd watch. A nice variety of beverages and the food that we did see leave the kitchen looks delicious! They have a roof top - which... More

Tasty sandwiches in decent proportions.. Best sandwich in BA so far! Besides the sandwiches, the smoothies are also exactly what you want!

Simple, homey decor... And good tasty choice for afternoon snacks, such as good toasted bread, medialunas, scones.... Plus juices, teas and coffees. The friendly service and wifi adds up to a great afternoon with friends or alone.

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
