Cool spot for some expat fun. Also, great brunch!

Magdalena's Party's the go to place for expats in Bs As (and locals looking for an expat vibe). Seriously, there are so many different nationalities in this little Palermo corner that the place feels like an airport... with booze. And food, of course. Talking about food, you must try the brunch... read more

Just landed in this amazing city called Buenos Aires and after alot of hearing about the famous MAGGIES, we decided to go on sunday for brunch, we got there early and just as well, as no sooner had the 8 of us sat down than the place started to fill up.... The service was excellent, girl called Luna served us,... More

We visited on a Tuesday night, when chef Larry from Austin TX prepares authentic Texas barbeque. It was amazingly good! Empanadas stuffed with brisket, actual barbeque brisket, wonderful french fries the way they are supposed to be made - and lots of fun people enjoying themselves. Warm and happy service - we're going back for the brunch on Sunday and... More

My friends and I come here almost every Sunday for brunch. It never fails to disappoint, we look forward to it every weekend. My favorite thing to order there is a Californian omelet, which is made with black beans and all other kinds of good stuff, folded into a lovely crepe, and served with salsa and guacamole. Heaven. Their French... More

This bar is one of the best spots in BA if you want to eat delicious food and meet cool and nice people from all over the world! The prices are very standard for a place in Palermo, that's great. Brunch is amazing and the bottomless mimosas are just the best. Burgers are really good as well. I highly recommend... More

What Magdalena's Party offers that other resteraunts lack is what the Argentines call "la onda", a cool place with good vibes (sound, food, and drinks). Magdalena's offers great promos everyday of the week (80 peso all you can drink mimosas, 25 peso Skye Vodka drinks, happy hour from 12-12), great food that draws in the crowds day and night (get... Brunch is liable to get out of hand in Buenos Aires, obvio. So pick Magdalena's and get that ball rolling with a top-notch bloody mary. And another. Bottomless mimosas, too. And don't let me forget the bloody marys. Plus, if you're still there eight hours later, you'll find it easy to hail a cab.

I don't care if you are a traveler, a tourist, or a local here in Buenos Aires, Magdalena's Party will make you feel at ease. It's like having your personal Cheers bar here in BA. I have been in BA for a while now and there is no place like Maggies. The food is BOMB! You can't beat the Brunch,... More

I have been living in BA for six months, and was missing good ol' American food for brunch. This place delivers. I don't agree with the recent negative reviews at all: the brunch menu is very well done (I have been twice, trying the breakfast burrito, chimichanga, and steak and egg sandwich) and the Bloody Marys are quite passable. I... More

A bunch of horny 20 year olds. No Americans. Only one waitress out of a staff of ten speaks English--and poorly at that. This is a dark and crappy bar full of Argentinian hipsters. Mediocre drinks, depressing dark atmosphere and music, and slow service. Worst of all, they don't accept credit cards and the nearest ATM is 15 blocks away.... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
