We arrived at our hotel in the Palermo neighborhood at about 10pm, wanting something to eat, but not a full multi-course meal. The desk clerk suggested SIAMO NEL FORNO, two blocks away. It was the perfect suggestion. They make wonderful, hand-crafted pizzas and calzones in a single, wood-fired brick oven, using fresh ingredients. Besides their usual menu options, they feature... If like me you are not crazy about the Argentinean pizza then this is the place. Proper pizza dough, proper ingredients (real mozzarella) and proper combinations, cooked in a real pizza oven, all served in a pleasant pizzeria, very similar to the italian ones. Discovering this place has made me miss Italy a lot less, I mean it!!

We dined at Siamo Nel Forno on a Thirsday night on a recent trip to BA. We asked our hotel to call the restaurant to check if a table was available, and they kept a table reserved for us as long as we arrived before 9 pm. This was lucky because the restaurant was almost completely full by the time... More

Craving a good pizza, we made the effort to walk here after reading not to trust other pizza in Buenos Aires. Totally worth it! Delicious thin crust pizzas and rich gelato. Able to easily get a table on a Tuesday night, I imagine it would be more difficult on weekends

This is Naples-style pizza simply perfected! This is not your family pizza place but a place to relax, feel pampered and be amazed at every bite. The servers listened and helped us pair our pizza with the right side dishes and wine. Thank you, Nestor !

Italian style thin based pizza that will have you begging for more! This unassuming place on a corner in Palermo Hollywood is in our top 5 restaurants thanks to their high quality ingredients and attentive service. We've tried a lot of pizza in our time and very few come close to those at Siamo nel Forno, kept in the 400... More

Probably so. An enormous leap above the typical BA pizzas, which are made with uninteresting crust and the cheapest of ingredients. Siamo nel Forno obviously uses top quality ingredients, and the crust is to die for. We shared a couple of pizzas and a calzone, and left wishing we could have eaten more.

Tried to go to this restaurant much earlier during my time in Buenos Aires but it was closed, be warned this is a typical restaurant here and doesn't open until 8pm! Second time around was a success though and enjoyed easily the best pizza in Buenos Aires to date, definitely very authentic and freshly baked. I would note that the... More

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
