Every time I go to Buenos Aires I dinner at Cocina Sunae, it's an awesome restaurant. If you love Asian or spicy food you can't miss, the service is very friendly (they also speak english) and the ambient is great.

Note: Cochina Sunae is a "closed door" restaurant, a legal status in Buenos Aires which means you need to reserve your table in advance, which is easy enough to do. My wife and I enjoy fine dining and while we were on-the-whole enjoying our week in BA, nothing was triggering that "eyes roll up in your head" kind of enthusiasm... More

It's hard to find reasonably authentic foreign tastes in Buenos Aires. Anyone who has been out for cream cheese-filled, otherwise tasteless sushi knows this. Cocina Sunae is a haven, a port in a storm. First bite of the first course, Thai fish cakes, and a welcome blast of cilantro and sriracha actually made me think of meals in Bangkok. Pad... More

My husband and I ate here last week and were pleasantly surprised. This puerta cerrada is in a lovely home with two dining rooms on the patio or inside. The food was delicious. The flavors combinations were outstanding. Unlike other puertas cerradas, Cocina Sunae has a full staff in the kitchen, outside the home, and someone to take your order.... More

A tiny and lovely patio with very few tables inside what once was a family house greets you when you enter. It is almost impossible to tell from outside the restaurant what is hidden inside. Because, inside, the delicate art of Chef Christina Sunae will guide you through a roller coaster of flavors and textures of asian food like you... More

I went to Cocina Sunae twice. The first time it was for my birthday, invited by my parents. It was a very nice sorprise to enter such a nice house and have a great dinner with my family in a very relaxed atmosphere. The second time it was with my husband, and I can say it is the perfect place... More

I just loved the place when i came in. It's not only about food, but atmosphere as well. Everything is so well thought and made! The food is not just tasty, it's sophisticatedly exquisite and excellentely served, the interior decorations make the place very cosy (!always fresh flowers!!) and waiters are super courteous. Extremely harmonic place! I recommend.

We booked a table for Noche Buena . The four course menu was worth the taxi ride! One of the best dinners in our four week city trip in BA. The food was tasteful, creative and good value for money. Husband Franco was a great host. Staff very friendly and delicated.
