A good choice for families and groups

We chose this parrilla/restaurant randomly because it was located close to our hotel, and we were not disappointed. I am an Argentinean expat, and love to eat asado/ parrilla when I go back, and this is my favorite place! I love their mollejas and arugula and shaved parmesan salad, but have also tried other parrilla cuts, and everything has been consistently good. I recommend it!

We had a good time, the waiters are very friendly, we ordered several steaks, the best, Bife de chorizo. The area where the restaurant is located, has many restaurants and is very nice area.

Have visited El Primo twice, with consistent results. Staff very friendly and attentive, the food is well-prepared and of good quality, plentiful selections on the menu. On this visit, we had pasta, tenderloin, water and wine - about $35 US for two. Nice.

The waitress just disappeared, was seen talking to another waitress for a full 15 minutes before she was called by the kitchen because our food was had been prepared and she wasn't picking up to serve...needless to say, the meat was cold, so returned to the kitchen. When it came back it was dry. She also forgot to bring things,... More

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
