Pizza Argentinian style

Went here for a late lunch on a Saturday, place was nonetheless packed. Ordered a Calzone, and if I had known I would've settled for half of one. They are just huge, basically more than one person can eat. Filled with fresh ingredients and tasty. Small minor point though: the calzone was just... read more

We after leaving cruise were spending couple of nights in BA and this restaurant was across the street . Menu had English subtitles. We had pasta steak fries beer and small bottle of wine for $35 US. Food and service were fine in this crowded theater district place. Would return.

A friend took me to this "legendary" restaurant for their fabled pizza. I almost gave up eating pizza after this one. We had a "gourmet" pizza which had CANNED and briny asparagus and CANNED and tasteless mushrooms. I could only eat about three bites of this awful pizza. And the service was so slow it was almost a joke. I... More

For me this still is the best pizza in buenos aires. We ordered as always the "faina" which you put over the pizza and its great and the pizza with ham and peppers.

And its still the same. Great pizza, frequented by locals and tourists, but not a tourist picks. If I don't go there, I had not been in Buenos Aires.

Los inmortales has several restaurants in BA but all of them are excellent. The pizzas are big, very well filled, with especially cheese. Good wine list too.

While in Buenos Aires with the family, went here at about midnight with my sister for some midnight munchies. We had half a bottle of wine while awaiting our take out. That pizza hit the spot, it was delicious. I can describe it as an in between from original Italian pizza and NYC pizza. It was actually the best thing... More

Lot of character in the cafe, but importantly, good veggie salads and veggie pizzas available. After a couple of days wandering around looking for veggie food, we were happy to enjoy yummy pizzas, salads and drinks on a lazy afternoon.

Staying in San Nicolas

Neighborhood Profile
San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theater lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby. During the day, Corrientes is known for its many bookshops and classic cafés, which are located just minutes away from some famous landmarks, like the Obelisco, Avenida 9 de Julio, and the Teatro Colon.
