The Hernan Gipponi is a worldclass restaurant dishing out some fantastic food with stellar wine pairings. We were a little bit hesitant as we had a bad experience at another fine dining place in Buenos Aires, but found this restaurant to be everything the other one wasnt. The service was warm and attentive from the second we walked in the... More

This restaurant is in the Fierro hotel... which bills itself as "the hotel for the gourmand" and they made us believers! We had the 5 course tasting menu (190pesos per person) and loved every bite! from the prawns, to carrot puree, white salmon (yes white salmon - sooo good) with leek, pantagonian lamb & potato, sorbets between courses, decandant chocolate,... There is a lot of choice, and a lot of good dining choices in Buenos Aires. You don't need to spend a fortune to eat well. But if budget is no concern, then I recommend Hernan Gipponi at the Fierro in Palermo Hollywood. The evening tasting menus are superb, the selection diverse, creative and very tasty; you choose five, seven... More

I seek these rare dining experiences in BA and this is top 5 with out a doubt. I had a business lunch here so no wine, but will return for the full experience another night. I did the 9 and my guest did the 5 course menu. Each course is indeed small, but next time I would opt for the... More

Judging by all the reviews we certainly had high expectations when arriving at Hernan Gipponi for dinner. I am happy to say that for the most part we were not disappointed. We opted for the 7 course tasting menu with wine pairings, which came in at under £80 for two people. We were treated to some excellent Argentinian wines and... More

I was in town only one week and ate mainly with family or at local parrillas, so I cannot compare it with other restaurants in Buenos Aires. I can, however, compare it with great restaurants in other large cities in the US and Europe and I think HG would ably compete in bigger ponds. That's my opinion, anyway! For those... More

Having read sooo many reviews about this place I went expecting a whole lot of it. Let's be clear: service was very good, the decor of the place is clean and moders, ingredients were top notch...but flavour was missing, nothing made me wow you know? It was like, nothing was bad, but nothing was excellent either. Will come back to... More

We went here after reading the great reviews and must say it was even.better than advertised. We had the 5 course menu plus wine pairings and it was excellent. Every dish paired well with the wine, the dishes have been creative, yet eatable at the same time. Service was absolutely flawless!

Hernan Gipponi Restaurante is a spectacular restaurant. Its a small restaurant with outstanding food. The menu allows you to chose the number of courses. They offer a 5, 7 and 9 course tasting menu with wine pairing.. We actually had a 6 course meal by adding an additional course. Each of the courses was phenomenal. They were creative and interesting... More

Great, creative food, reasonably priced. Multiple tasting options. We had the 7 course option with the wine parings. The wait staff and sommelier were very friendly and knowledgable. Master chef was onsite. One of the best dining experience in BA.
