Nice place to visit in the morning for a solo café. The chocolates are very good as well. Friendly staff with outdoor seating to enjoy your morning café.

We stop by for tea and sandwich make great pan de miga cheese and ham hot sandwich. I am addicted to there smoothies even in Spring. This time my husband had the chocolate one. We buy our gift supply of Alfajores to bring back as gifts. I always sample one. They give you chocolate cookies and mineral water with order.

Coffee on every corner but this is the best chain in town, guaranteed to satisfy a craving for a good quality cup of Joe. Especially like the Uruguay at Viamonte location near the courts.

Having lived abroad and traveling around the world for the past 11 years, in more than 20 countries, I can't help compare coffee franchises Nero, La Brioche Doree, and Paul being between my favorites, still Havanna has the edge. For one thing they serve the coffee in the Argentinean size, which is like half the size of a small Starbucks... More

Recomiendo que todos traten los alfajores. Me gusta mas los alfajoes con chocolate oscuro. I recommend that everyone try the alfajores. Personally, I prefer the dark chocolate ones.

Taste super good, but it may be too much caramel and too sweet for some people. I bought a lot of these to bring this home as souvenirs.

This cafes are all over Buenos Aires and they are full of people drinking coffee and eating alfajores. I did not know that they had so many varieties such as dulce de leche, chocolate, cream and a nut cream. They look like a two cookies with the cream inside. They very sweet maybe a little too much if you donot... More

Neighborhood Profile
San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theater lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby. During the day, Corrientes is known for its many bookshops and classic cafés, which are located just minutes away from some famous landmarks, like the Obelisco, Avenida 9 de Julio, and the Teatro Colon.
