One fot he top restaurants in BA

Great food and suburb service. The recommendations from the staff were good and therefore we have a great diner, which even impressed our local guest from Buenos Aires. As main people already mentioned take the Soufle as desert, fantastic!

Steaks were tough. Not up to par with American meats. Staff was friendly and service was fair. Language problems definitely.

Flawless from start to finish in every phase. Ambiance, views, service but most of all the innovative and delicious food. Best dining experience in our 2 weeks in Argentina, even exceeded our great dinner at I Latina, which is quite an accomplishment. The calamari and the soufflé were our favorites from an extraordinary evening. The price was quite reasonable for... More

The food is modern, molecular and tasty. It is cutting edge culinary but not so much that it is weird. Eat the octopus, tastes like steak -- seriously. Loved it.

We went here for our last night in BA. Starting with the walk past the trophy cabinet that lined the long hallway to the restaurant we felt bad as they were setting the expectation for the night very high. Thankfully they did not disappoint. The cocktails were scrumptious, staff well informed and relaxed, and the food delicious. We opted for... More

Beautiful location overlooking the water, the space itself is modern, clean and well put together. The food was perfectly cooked, delicate, well presented. The provenance of the ingredients was known / explained, our server was able to get into quite some detail in English. The meal moved at a good pace, price was commensurate with similar experiences in other world... More

We were a party of 3 so we each ordered one of each. The steak and white fish were amazing, while the pig was nothing to be desired. The starters were amazing as well, with the octopus being the best. The soufflé desert was a orgasmic experience to say the least. The service was excellent as well as the wine... More

Chila is in the new Puerta Madero district of BA, a really smart restaurant: decor is very 'corporate' and sleek - you could be in any major city in the world, except that the menu with its Patagonian lamb and mate ice-cream (hideous palate cleanser but hey, the locals love it so who am I to judge) very much reflects... Amazing service, presentation, the wine, the food, absolutely fantastic. French Laundry, Bouchon, Jules Verne and many other restaurants should look at this gem in Buenos Aires and take notes...Do not miss the soufflé de dulce de leche....marvelous....

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighborhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighborhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolize this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
