We have hosted a 7-course dinner with wine here for a group of 4 and it was a very good experience from start to finish. The location and interior is aptly modern; business-like, but not over the top. The food is definitely Michelin-star ambitious and very professionally prepared. The different techniques provide an interesting experience and the 'food-map' showing where... More

Good service, good wines and good food... Generous portions that are filling even with a basic 3 course meal. Lamb grilled to perfectionj

Randomly picked this amongst the various restaurants along the converted warehouses in the Puerto Madero and was very pleasantly surprised. The dinner was amazing! Had an amuse bouche of sweetbreads and egg foam which was sublime. The lamb was deliciously tender and fantastic. Everything from the service to the food to the wine was wonderful. It is not a cheap... More

First of all, reviewers who complain about the price are complete travel innocents. The offical rate when we visited was 8.5 ARS to the $. The Bluedolar rate was $15. At that rate, this was a superb buy. When asked about a highlight in Argentina, I mention the superb dining. When asked about superb dining, I mention Chila.

OK, so the food might still be great but at this level of restaurant, it's a big oversight to quote $450 on the website and $700 when you get there in person. They need to pay more attention to detail. The Spanish version of the website has the updated price but the English version does not.

Ate here on our final night after a week of Argentinian conspicuous consumption. Were not disappointed. A classy dining room with beautiful water views. Service of the highest standard with waiters near- fluent in English. Being foodies, we went the whole hog and had the degustation with wines. Very generous pours - virtually 5 full glasses. Wines themselves were excellent... More

We ate at Chila as a family of 4 plus a 2-year old toddler and I must say we felt at home and enjoyed our dinner despite being far from "fine-diner" stereotype. Two people ordered 7 course and the other two 3, all with wine pairings. We had a bad surprise when I realised that the prices on the menu... More

This stylish restaurant reflects well the sense of innovation of its young chef, the Argentinian Soledad Nardelli. Together with the lovely view of the night lights around the river, we particularly enjoyed the rabbit potpourri, the duck maigret, and the astonishing selection of chocolates we asked for dessert, with different flavors and consistences. I think now the menu is different... More

Number 19 in the Latin American San Pellegrino awards and with a view out over the water and the modern side of the city. The food was very good - homemade and unusual breads, a lovely amuse bouche, Mi cuit sea trout and mouthwatering dry aged beef. And the aperitifs and Malbec were also good value. Would have preferred to... More
