Needs a Dose of Professionalism

Crizia has great potential. The building has good bones. The ambience is fantastic....but then things go downhill fast. The wine list does not publish the year - this is super critical for the true wine junkie. It's as if they are too lazy to keep the menu up to date. The wait-staff acted like... read more

The venue is modern and sophisticated but it sort of ends there. Wine list has no years printed. Both fish dishes were rubbery. Once main courses were delivered, we were left to pour our own wine and water. This could be a great restaurant but it needs to step up food and service. So many other more inspired choices for... I really like the service, the food and the price was not bad at all, considering what we had. The bar tender is friendly and came to the table to ask how we liked our drinks. I am a pisco sour fan and try the drink every time I have the chance. I loved the pisco sour at Crizia. Not... More

If you are in Buenos Aires do not miss this place! Food is fantastic, the restaurant room is gorgeous and service is top class! I have never seen a place like this - although I have been travelling aroundrhe world. Fish is the speciality - so go for it! Sole is divine - so are the steamed/fried potatoes. WOW!

La Crizia is very special. The building is an old filmstudio with high ceilings. However the decoration is design and very nice. The food quality is very good and the price is not bad at all. We had pate, followed by sole and pappardelle with scallops. Dessert was a fabulous creme brulee. Magnificent!

Our hotel recommended to have dinner at Crizia, I am glad they did, very trendy nice place with a great wine cellar and good sommelier to explain the variety of good Argentina wines. The food is good but not great.

With excellent recommendations and an initial excitement upon entering the restaurant and getting a beautiful table-- we suffered through one of the worst dining experiences in the last several years. Trying to have fun after wine tours in Mendoza we waited for 25 mins for the Sommelier to wander over. She assisted my wife in choosing from three recommendations-- fortunately... More

The Michelin guide books sometimes tell you that a particular restaurant "is worth a detour". Crizia certainly fits that category for us. The food, the wine suggested by the sommelier, as well as the ambience and service, were outstanding. And, we should add, a comparable dining experience in New York would cost three times as much. I only wish friends... More

After two weeks of mixed food experiences in Argentina, we were more than curious about Crizia as one of the last places to visit. One main reason was the oyster bar. But it was way more than that: At first glance, it looks like the usual hipster canteen, guests seem to be quiet young. Then there is the food. And... More

Beautiful place, good food, but at the end of the evening a guy with some friends - surely the owner, otherwise someone would have said something - took over the place, which changed the atmosphere completely. They appeared to be under influence and we didn’t know how fast to leave the place. Definitely not a place to return to.
