Fantastic!

I had been to this restaurant several times in the past, however,on this visit to Buenos Aires the entire experience was a complete letdown. The service was quite unprofessional given the price levels which are high for Buenos Aires. The person attending to my table could not explain the wines nor the dishes with any degree of knowledge. The food... More

The welcome was not too professional which might be due to language reasons. However, the persons at the entrance need to be trained how to welcome foreign guests. But soon everything was forgotten. We got a very nice and professional waitress who made us feel at home, every course served was fantastic, one of the best experience in Argentina so... More

We visited twice in our recent month long visit to Argentina. The cuisine is exceptional and a variety of choices on the menu. I especially appreciated the fish and seafood selections since I am not a meat eater. Juan, the bartender is also a delight and don't forget to order a tasty cocktail before dinner.

This restaurant happened to be a block away from our apartment in BA and we were looking for a romantic venue for the one night we had of the holiday to enjoy while our toddler stayed in with her grandfather. I am so pleased we settled on Crizia. We had to press a doorbell to get in which initially put... More

Went to Crizia without a reservation, it was fully booked but they offered to squeeze us at the bar and wait to see if there would be any no shows....if it didn't happened we could have dinner ate the bar. I don't know if unfortunately or fortunately there weren't any no shows. The bartender (Juan - very nice guy) who... More

Crizia has great potential. The building has good bones. The ambience is fantastic....but then things go downhill fast. The wine list does not publish the year - this is super critical for the true wine junkie. It's as if they are too lazy to keep the menu up to date. The wait-staff acted like amateurs. They hit one of my... More

The venue is modern and sophisticated but it sort of ends there. Wine list has no years printed. Both fish dishes were rubbery. Once main courses were delivered, we were left to pour our own wine and water. This could be a great restaurant but it needs to step up food and service. So many other more inspired choices for... I really like the service, the food and the price was not bad at all, considering what we had. The bar tender is friendly and came to the table to ask how we liked our drinks. I am a pisco sour fan and try the drink every time I have the chance. I loved the pisco sour at Crizia. Not... More

If you are in Buenos Aires do not miss this place! Food is fantastic, the restaurant room is gorgeous and service is top class! I have never seen a place like this - although I have been travelling aroundrhe world. Fish is the speciality - so go for it! Sole is divine - so are the steamed/fried potatoes. WOW!

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
