Had a gorgeous meal, alongside excellent ambience - high ceilings, tasteful lighting and sleek design. What differentiated this place for us was the European style food that was prepared to such a high standard - cooked and seasoned to perfection, fresh ingredients, light on your palette and very well executed. None of your Latin American stodgy fare (meat and potatoes).... More

My fiance and I went to Crizia to celebrate our anniversary and the place exceeded our expectations. The venue is very chic, has an industrial/modern feeling and is elegant yet casual. The service is great and the food is brilliant. They have an extensive winelist so if you are particular about your wines you should find a nice bottle to... More

Upon entering Crizia you are greeted by a lovely hostess who will lead you to your table, all of which are very private. The space is dimly lit, with soaring loft ceilings and minimalist artwork which makes for a very romantic setting. Service is on par with any nice Manhattan restaurant, and the staff speaks English very well. We started... More

We felt really comfortable in this restaurant, enough that we went back a second time (a real compliment in this city, which has so many great restaurants). Great space for dining-- high ceilings, low lighting, large windows, contemporary decor and cool bar. The staff had good English proficiency, which was a nice break from the struggle of communication that non-Spanish... More

Crizia was recommended to my wife and I. We ate diner there on our first night in town and could not have been more pleased. Every dish we tried was delicious and the wine list is top notch. We were also very pleased to find fresh oysters. The staff were very friendly and the owner, Geri (sp?) introduced herself and made... More

I had a slow-braised lamb dish - absolutely the best I have ever tasted. Well worth the visit just to see the remarkable decor.

Staying just down the street in the marvelous Mine Boutique Hotel, we tried this little find and even went back for a 2nd night in the 8 nights we had rationed for dining experiences in lovely Buenos Aires. The staff, food choices, wine list and ambiance were first class..wonderful. The meal was simply scrumtious. Ahh, but theoysters..the oysters. They were... More

Yet another fashionable restaurant in Palermo that doesn't live up to BA food standards. The lighting is low and the atmosphere aims at chic/romantic -but it is not, the place is actually a big refurbished warehouse. We ordered oysters for starters, which were great -only to find out, for main, how patagonic lamb can be ruined (and hard to the... More

I came here on the advice of a local as the best seafood in town. I was only in Buenos Aires for 2 days and unfortunately cannot vouch for that claim but my choice of food when I came was delectable. Coming from London where there are numerous similar restaurants I was happy to find a match in south America.... More

This restaurant came highly recommended and after spending days munching our way through trip adviser's #1 and #4 restaurants in BA we were utterly disappointed. It started with the closed door, apparently we had made our way to the back entrance (however sign posted) and when finally noticed by staff, we were hand gestured to walk around the block to...
