A surprise after surprise

We arrive at 9 pm and the restaurant was nearly empty. We decided to go for the 5 course and 4 glasses of wine, the easiest choice for a tired couple coming from the Patagonia region. Since the bread and the sparkling wine, passing through flavours of the garden, the earth and the sea. All courses... read more

I consider myself a foodie, but this place took my enjoyment out of food. I was excited to have dinner at Tegui because of it being one of the top 50 restaurants in the world, an article I had read in WSJ, and just to experience the food. The tasting / wine paring menu, was disgusting. I did not care... More

We went to this restaurant on our last night in Buenos Aires, and it was well worth the many phone calls to try and get a reservation! We had the 10 course set menu, with no details on what you get each course until it arrives - it was quite exciting each time a course arrived! There's also the opportunity... More

5 or 10 courses and with or without wine that is your choice. The food was amazing, the tomato medley was Great, Octopus OK, sweetbreads amazing, as well as the venison, delightful desert. Bravo!

One of the best meals my partner and I have had, and beats at least one 3 star restaurant we've eaten at. Adventurous menu, great wine pairings, and simply stunning tastes - of 10 courses, 9 were absolutely brilliant and the last was pretty good! And the fitout / decor is fabulous too. This restaurant's (low) ranking on Trip Advisor... More

is on the same level as any of the best restaurants in NYC unlike much of south america (especially argentina), the service is very attentive. everyone down to the busboys speaks perfect or near-perfect english, and the pace of the meal is good. the dishes are very unique and fun. this is in contrast to some of the other reviews,... First let me tell you, we were staying at the Hilton at Puerto Madero so we were really far from this place. The taxi driver had never heard of it and got lost along the way. The near surroundings are definitely not scenic. Yet, when we entered the restaurant our fears vanished completely. We decided upon the 8 course dinner... More

I was looking forward to the meal here. We followed the best 50 restaurant in LATAM list and had great experience with ones in Peru. We made reservations at 2 highest ones on the list in Buenos Aires. The other one was so much better (I was impressed) and I left a separate review for that, Aramburu. The menu here... More

Tegui is a closed doors restaurant. I had reservation for 20:30, and for a while I thought me, my wife and friends would be the only clients in the house. The whole environment is really cool, even posh. Tables are on the large side, lights are profuse, the whole place is really bright. Good to see the food, which is... More

I been recently on a food spree in Buenos Aires with husband and firends and included Tegui in our list of restaurants. The food was good, but was not amazing (like we had at Aramburu on the day before or El Baqueano on the day after!) and the wines, although excelent, didn't match the dishes! Also, and most amazing for... More
