Having just dined in Lima (the undisputed culinary capital of South America) I was wondering if anyplace in Buenos Aires could live up to that standard, and this was the one place in town that really matched that level of excellence. As everyone has already pointed out the outside is graffiti filled and the inside is classy, modern and very... More

We celebrated our anniversary there and it was amazing! Despite the fact that you're not allowed to take any kind of pictures, everything was perfect. We ordered a taste menu with wine and I will always remember those dishes, specially the terrina with corn ice cream...unbelievable. But you must reserve a table or you might wait for more than 2... For our New Years Eve we decided to celebrante in a special location which offers more than just excellent food. With Tegui we found a stylish place which is well known in South America. We booked the night with a especial menu, drinks includes and open end. There was absolutely nothing to complain. The guests were from around the world... More

Third visit to Tegui in as many years, and it didn't disappoint. Our group of 10 was accommodated in private room, with excellent service. Food was inventive and attractive, and delicious.

Very glad to have tried Tegui while in BA. The meal was very good (had the sole with octopus bolognese - really delicious and my mom had the lamb which was fall-off-the-bone good). However, service was just so-so. We ordered cocktails and wine then our meal... first the meal came, then 5 minutes later, the wine got dropped off, which... More

Definetely the best restaurant in town. Boking is advised. For dessert try the chocolate chocolate dulce de leche, the best dessert EVER created.

One of the most talked about dining experiences in Palermo is Tegui. We set out to find it, which isn’t as simple as you might think! The door to the restaurant is so unassuming, you will probably walk right past it as we did. A simple metal door set in a stencilled graffiti covered wall marks the entrance; the name... More

Came here on the recommendation from local friends. We ordered the full 8 course tasting menu and wine pairing as our splurge on our trip. While each course was interesting, I felt some were better than others. I'm pretty adventurous and love eating locally wherever I travel, and I really wanted to be blown away. But I felt some of... We went here based on the restaurants recent inclusion as the 'best' restaurant in Argentina and we always go somewhere new when we visit BA. We loved: the low key entrance, the decor and ambience, the service, the presentation of the dishes. We weren't so keen on: the food itself! Starters were excellent, main courses were good to ok, desserts... More
