We had the tasting menu with paired wine and it was excellent. Loved the crispy boudin, loved the lamb, the desserts, wines were all local and excellent, service impeccable. We had a reservation at 10:30 arrived at 10:45 and were sited at 11. Our dinner was a sensational 2 1/2 hour experience in both taste and texture, It's an expensive... More

Had been to the best in Lima and absolutely loved Astrid y Gaston and Central. Made an assumption that Tegui being no.9 in South American rankings would be special. Clearly focussed on image with its graffiti entrance and sofa lounges to sit on before being taken to your table. Table placements were like a boarding school, one long row of... More

I was on the fence about Tegui reading some of the more recent reviews but was still determined since I missed it on a previous visit. I'm glad we went and the experience was worthwhile. We enjoyed the eight course menu and wine offering and every plate was beautifully presented and the flavor combinations fresh and exquisite. We savored every... More

The food is unforgettable, though not as warm or hot as usual in other restaurants. We had a taste menu, paired with excellent wines. Every meal in the degustation was superb. The service is very professional. Tables are too close, not appropriate for a private or romantic talk. It's very expensive, . The ambiance is not as glamorous as you... More

This was supposed to be a special dinner for the final night of a family trip to BA. We'd eaten at a number of great restaurants during our trip including Sucre and Hernan Gipponi, so hearing Tegui was on par with these, we had high expectations. The night we visited Tegui we had a reservation for three at 9:30. Our... More

Having just dined in Lima (the undisputed culinary capital of South America) I was wondering if anyplace in Buenos Aires could live up to that standard, and this was the one place in town that really matched that level of excellence. As everyone has already pointed out the outside is graffiti filled and the inside is classy, modern and very... More

We celebrated our anniversary there and it was amazing! Despite the fact that you're not allowed to take any kind of pictures, everything was perfect. We ordered a taste menu with wine and I will always remember those dishes, specially the terrina with corn ice cream...unbelievable. But you must reserve a table or you might wait for more than 2... For our New Years Eve we decided to celebrante in a special location which offers more than just excellent food. With Tegui we found a stylish place which is well known in South America. We booked the night with a especial menu, drinks includes and open end. There was absolutely nothing to complain. The guests were from around the world... More

Third visit to Tegui in as many years, and it didn't disappoint. Our group of 10 was accommodated in private room, with excellent service. Food was inventive and attractive, and delicious.
