We were looking for a place to have a bite withouut paying a fortune while strolling around puerto madero. We first went into a bar near to TGI Friday`s where they had good Music, however we did not get attended for 15min...here we at least got welcomed, however Service was slow, we were not asked... read more

Even allowing for the language difference our server seemed irritated with us wanting to order food much less try to pay the bill. I suspect he was overworked! Waited 1.5 hours for our meal and was frowned upon when we asked for more drinks whilst we waited. Ordered salads which were refreshing when we finally got them. Shame we had... More

I had an amazing time here. Ambient, music and food are great. Though, the service needs improvement ASAP.

Run away like in hell if you want to try local food. If you like standarized internatinal chains food, this is your place.

We figure it's because they don't like tourists here but the service is horrific. We were the only table in the restaurant and came in hoping they would serve a decent cup of coffee (notoriously difficult to find in BA). We waited for over fifteen minutes to be able to order, in the mean time four more tables entered. Most... More

Fridays Buenos Aires keeps the standard services around the world this mean price is fair enough versus service provided.

Found this place on a walk along the dock lands area which is busy at night . The place was very busy and the staff were attentive . I had the New York tenderloin which was just too chewy and fatty , trying to hide a poor un mature steak under a sauce .

I had a steak there and it was good. I did go there again and had chicken breast and you needed an axe to cut it. Even thou by the service was terrible the first time, I thought it might have been just a bad day, but no, the 2nd time it eas even worse. The staff will walk past... More

We were very excited to be there. First, none of the waiters understood English which wasn't so bad we've been to many places who didn't understand English. Then, we wanted the waiter to suggest a type of sweet wine that they serve, he got us the most sour wine I have ever tasted in my life. We ordered spicy chicken... More

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighborhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighborhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolize this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
