My husband and I traveled to BS AS from Washington DC. We frequent fancy restaurants with tasting menus-and this by far, was the best! The 9 course tasting menu, paired with Argentinian wine, is extraordinary. By the way, this was the least expensive--Excellent value!

We had a memorable 10 course meal that delighted and surprised us! Although pricey by BA standards, the dinner is a great value for North American travelers and rivals some of the best restaurants in the world. Standout dishes included egg foam amuse bouche, scallops from Patagonia, humita and Brie cheese (an inspired combination and take on a traditional Argentinian... More

We had an eight course dinner here recently and it was a delight. The food was wonderful (especially the beef course and a course with squid and rice) and the service was perfect. It is a wonderful location, charming setting and really lovely food. The wine pairings were very successful and the fact that my friend was a fishy-vegetarian (she... More

We had a 8 course tasting menu ($480 pesos per person plus wine) at Paraje Arevalo. The food was nicely presented, however the flavour was lacking. The dishes were either too bland or too salty. Our main course, the ribeye steak, was way too tough and dry. Service was good and we were offered an alternative to the ribeye but... More

We came here off recommendation from our hotel as a good place to have a special experience. We were celebrating our 3 year anniversary. We were not disappointed, we had an 8 and 10 tasting menu paired with wine. All wines were from mendoza and were matched perfectly to the food. The food was presented amazingly and the flavours were... More

I'm usually by myself in Buenos Aires, on business trios. Finding a cozy place with great food welcoming foreign loners is not so simple. There it is! Amazing place, Great food experience, although with some improvement needed, it is always a place to return and feel welcome. I chose the 8 course menu and the first 3 were impecable and... More

We loved our 10 course tasting menu here. All the food was exciting and tasted devine. It was nice to feel the serving staff and chefs were proud of the food and happy to see we were enjoying it. Great for a special occasion.

We booked this place as our dinner for our final night in Buenos Aires as a recommendation from our hotel. It turned out to be the best meal in our entire trip! There were 3 degustation menus on offer with or without matching wines. We chose to go with 8 courses and matching wines and we're absolutely stuffed at the... More

The food was wonderful. This place has a tasting menu but you will not leave hungry. The paired wines from Mendoza Argentina are delicious. The hostess spoke English and discussed each course and wine pairing with us. This was a very enjoyable experience. We were referred here by staff at a fully booked restaurant. We did not need a reservation.

We had reserved through our hotel at 8:00 as we had an early flight the next day. We arrived at paraje aravelo at around 8:10pm to be told that they wouldn't be open until 8:30 and to be shunned out the door and the door locked behind us as if we were going to break it down to get in!... More
