Great signature food

Excellent ambiance, this small restaurant in Palermo will surprise you with its good food and wines! Bread is served on hot stones! very creative. We went for #BAFoodWeek with an excellent menu for the occasion.

We knew nothing about this restaurant in advance and just dropped by because it was lunchtime and we were on the same block. We were really well received, with a lot of attention and answers to any questions that we had. The style of the restaurant is pretty simple (think farmhouse kitchen) and the portions are generous and tasty. The... More

The service was terrible from start to finish. Was dining alone and the waiter was arrogant and unpleasant. Felt very unwelcome from the moment I sat down and I wish had walked back out. Food also not great. Ordered medium rare steak which was well past, well done. Worst experience in BA. Had trouble believing this was the same place... More

You could walk right by and not notice this place, but luckily I read some previous reviews and made a point of finding our way there for dinner. As another review stated, the door was locked when we arrived and we had to wait until a waiter noticed us peering in. Once we were inside the waiter told us we... More

This is the best restaurante in Buenos Aires, not only because the food is incredible, but also because you will be served by the best staff. Everybody is so kind and professional, and the manager Ana is great, she will do everything to make you feel at home. All the plates are super yummy. !!!!!!!! . You can find hunting... More

Perhaps the best steak of my life, red wine mushroom reduction salsa. Best appetizer of our lives was the baked camembert with crustini, roasted pear and an apple slaw.

Argentine/international cuisine, inventive and very well presented, wines excellent (even the house red), attentive service even though restaurant was busy. Bill came to about 20% of what we would happily pay for a similar meal in London. It was worth visiting Buenos Aires just for the meal (we passed through on our way to Patagonia).

Four of us had dinner here on the recommendation of new friends from BA. We ordered four starters and four mains (nearly half of the menu). We could have stopped with the starters. The portions are ample. The menu is well constructed and the meals are visually pleasing, but in several cases the kitchen failed to execute with well prepared... More

We went for New year's eve....we booked through "restorando" which is like open menu. There was a set tasting menu for the evening, and we went for it, including the wine pairings. It was all excellent. Walking distance to our apartment and with very charming and attentive staff. Lovely alternative to some of the touristier spots.

Inspite of the mixed reviews we decided to go and have dinner anyway. I must say it was everything but mediocre. The food was excellent, fresh, good portions. We had an entree, a main course, coffee and a glass of wine for about €60, which is I think not at all overpriced. The waitresses are very friendly and extremely helpful.... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
