Amazing place and very good food!

Prices are very good because food is amazing! We loved it and we returned some days after the first meal! I really really think that this is one of the best restaurants in buenos aires !! Everything was clean and well organized. Service was perfect.

Without any doubt the service is perfect, but I had the feeling, that they need the table again very fast. The grilled cheese as a starter was perfect. I expected a lot regarding the steak. It was good, but nothing exceptional. For my feeling it is quite expensive. Also for the wine. 100 m away you get a very good... More

This is a busy 2 level restaurant which appeared to be full with locals. And it smelt good. Is there anything better than charred beef aroma - Fervor is an older style of restaurant with lots of dark timber and generally dark colours. A few of the staff speak English but that wasn't a real problem - pointing and charades... More

Very traditional service whereby the head waiter acts like he is more important than the customers. Even the staff were not welcoming. When we walked in the empty restaurant early in the evening, they acted as if we were lucky to get a table. We ordered a seafood grill for four people and all of us enjoyed it. We also... More

Recommended by our hotel and we weren't disappointed. Hadn't tried sweetbreads before knowing where they come from but was tempted after reading reviews. I would describe myself as a reserved eater but had a taste of some my husband ordered and was pleasantly surprised . One portion is ample for two or three people. The fillet steak was excellent and... More

That is what the waiter to me when he saw me undecided between the various unique meat cuts. Was he right! My ribeye was tasty, succulent and perfectly cooked. The boy at the table across was having a feast over his empana cut. And all the Sunday lunchers looked as happy as one should be in that place.

Excellent service. The sweetbreads were my first in several years and they were perfect. The wine list was a bit exaggerated but still good. We shared a mixed seafood grill that was very delicious. For locals it is considered expensive, but with the current 14 to 1 exchange rate it was not.. Remember, never use your credit from outside the... More

This is a restaurant attended most part by the Buenos Aires' citizens, very good steaks and service. Pick one night and go to this restaurant instead of Puerto Madero (even though there are nice restaurants there too).

You can't really go wrong in Buenos Aires when it comes to meat but this place was certainly delicious! I loved the food, the desserts, and the service. Don't miss having a Rojel with dulce de leche for dessert...it is divine!

Came here twice during a recent visit to Buenos Aires. This restaurant is very busy and even on weeknights it is suggested that you make a reservation. I had the rib eye steak, the skirt steak and shared the sweetbread dish with a friend. The meats were quite good but the sweetbread was incredibly well cooked and very delicious. We... More

Staying in Recoleta

Neighborhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterized by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighborhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centered on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
