Intimate spot with so much personality, I was so happy to find this place! The ingredients were fresh, the food plated with care, and all extremely delicious. If you're in Buenos Aires, I highly recommend visiting Astrid y Gaston (unless you plan on making it to Peru, then go to the one in Lima instead!)

Somewhat over rated, cebiche nice, but what could go wrong there...main dishes with fancy description but nothing impressive and waiters in bad mood....not worth the price , expected a lot more.

Great value for money at Astrid y Gaston duing BA Food Week April 15-22. For 99 pesos (US420 or less depending on the exchange rate used) we had a three course lunch of ceviche, linguado and dessert. The food was delicately prepared, fresh and nicely presented. Great pisco sour too, but that was extra.

I found this experience to be somewhat disappointing. While the food was well presented and offered new combinations of flavors, I found that the best part of the meal was the appetizers. The restaurant is wonderful. Both, the building and the food are excellent. You can find delicious peruvian food (chef version) and other kind of meal (not too much). Lomo saltado is an excellent choice.
