We went there in our first trip to Buenos Aires because it was offered to us a promotion of U$$ 130.00 to a dinner with full menu and drinks. Once we got there, we had to seat just beside other tables, VERY CLOSE to another family, so close we could hear what they were talking, even though they were talking... More

You must go here. This confiteria is superlative in every sense from the decor to the service and the food. This will b one of your most memorable experiences in this grand and glorious world class city. Just sit there and luxuriate in an atmosphere from yesterday. Relish the stained glass windows and the whole retro nature of the place.... More

We attended this restaurant and show as part of a group of 40 so can't really comment on the cost as many other TA writers have done, but we did thoroughly enjoy the show. My food was a little disappointing, but my husband's steak was delicious.....should have ordered it. The wine which was included, was quantity not quality and in... More

We took only the show, not the dinner, the place was very nice, the show was fantastic. The local friends we were there to visit were horrified by the prices and the fact that it was so staged. We considered the prices fair compared to a show in Broadway or Las Vegas, better by the fact that we were sitting... More

Cafe de Los Angelitos We were recommended this tango show by the concierge at our hotel. The establishment was in a nice location and looked classy. We sat down at our table then things went downhill from there. The waiter gave us the drinks we ordered and then promptly disappeared for half an hour. We had to flag down another... More

This place looks very nice from the outside and also when you enter it - and probably the 'regular' part of the café is fine, but we had bought tickets for the tango show in the back of the café and it was awful! The tango show itself was fine and entertaining but everything else was terrible. The worst food... More

We went with a tour group in January 2014. First up was our dance lesson (from 2 of the Tango dancers in the Tango performance later in the night). They did a performance for us and they were so good to watch. Not a step wrong and full of emotion. We were given some wine before the class (to loosen... More

Went with a tour from our cruise ship for a great night out watching a tango show which was really first class. Most of our party had really good meals but unfortunately my steak was not what one would expect in Argentina. The staff did no hold back with the wine which contributed greatly to a memorable night out. Be... More

My favourite cafe in Buenos Aires. Wonderful building which harks back to Buenos Aires' once glamorous past, lovely staff and great coffee. Wi-fi is a bonus. A must-visit. If only the surrounding area were as nice.

You don't go here for the food, you go for the show which was outstanding. The band never took a break and they were very talented. This is a traditional show with no gimmicks between dances. There are a couple of song and instrumental pieces to give the dancers a breather. The food was ok too, just not the quality... More
