This was by far the worst meal and Tango show I have ever been to. We bought a food, drink and show package and can honestly say the 4 of us could not find anything good to say about any part of the evening. The food was terrible, the wine WORSE and the Tango show totally hopeless, so I suggest... read more

We went to the Dinner and Tango Show. Some of the mixed expectations following earlier reviews proved unfounded. It was an evening of 3 parts, all entertaining. The minibus to collect us arrived spot on at 8.00 for an 8.30pm start. After meandering through the back streets of Palermo to find other guests ( using divine inspiration rather than satnav... An excellent night which included transfer to cafe, a tasty three course meal (where you could choose from 4 options), prompt and efficient service, all topped with an exquisite tango show. Excellent all round.

We went for the Cena & Show. We purchased tickets from a travel agency, which seemed to get a better rate than the face value that the restaurant was selling. Plus they got us transportation to/from our lodging. That was hugely helpful in and of itself. The meal was fine. It has unlimited drinks, but that is true up until... More

The Pickup shuttle bus was 40min late. When arrived at the cafe we then had to sit in the bus for another 10, the place was sold out and we found we had been assigned a seat. All the appetizers were good. The mains sagged a little. My steak was grisly and tough even when i got the sharp steal... More

We visited Cafe de Los Angelitos just for the tango show. We did not do the dinner so I can't comment on the food, but they never let your wine glass get empty. :) The show was great - the musicians (especially the accordion player) and dancers were very impressive. We got a 2 for 1 deal on the tickets... More

First of all, this show is awesome. I could not take my eyes off the stage. The dancers and musicians are world class. The food... I had a chicken dish which was not very good. Most of it went uneaten. My husband chose the steak which he said was very good. The dessert, though, was so rich and chocolatey... It... More

The performance was excellent and very professional. Beautiful dancing and vocals highly recommended. The food though was not so good - avoid the ceviche (canned tuna on a plate) and chicken entree. Safest menu options seem to be the phyllo pastry appetizer and steak for entree. For dessert your best bet is the chocolate mousse or the ice cream. The... More

My girlfriend and I went one evening and it was a great night out. They pick you up and drop you back to your hotel afterwards. The price was a little steep but after my girlfriend loved the dancing and the meals being quick and quite good, it was definitely worth it. Not to mention the beer and wine flowed... More

My wife and I are avid Tango-lovers, as spectators. In January, our Tour Company had included this Dinner and Tango Show in our itinerary. I will review the Tango show independently, but the meal was impressive and worth reviewing in its own right. For one thing, the food is remarkably good and the service like lightening. The cafe is chic... More
