Cold beer and good empanadas

Cold beer and good empanadas on the sidewalk across the street from Recoleta Cemetery and Recoleta Mall. What's not to like?

Ordered 2 pizzas, they said it would take an hour, even though it's 5 minutes from my hostel, pizza came and wasn't even cut into slices! The online cost of my individual pizza was listed as 54 Argentinian pesos, my friends pizza was listed as 109, The bill came and they charged me 120 pesos for my small pizza and... More

Pizza in Buenos Aires is really good. Almost every pizza place is good or at least, it would not disappoint. Romario has good pizza, but service is great, and is righ behind the Recoleta Cemetery, which is a really beautiful zone, full of bars, restaurants and even a mall. Tables are outside, so you could have a really good time... More

We had 2 small pizzas here for lunch and they were good, though nothing special. Not mentioned on the menu, every pizza got a topping of green olives. Which seemed to make it taste particularly salt & sour. The waitresses clearly weren't in the mood for working this day. Just our bad luck I guess.

oh, how I loved their pizza. "Unfortunately" it was very fulfilling and I couldn't eat it all. Very attentive staff, with good recommendations. I would recommend this place if what you're looking for is beer and pizza.

We went for a late lunch and were told to stay even if they were closing 40 minutes after we arrived. The service was more in a hurry to leave than any other thing, and they didn't give much attention to us. The pizza, none the less, was beautiful. The athmosphere looks like it would be better at night, since... More

The empanadas at this place were one of the best ones I tasted in Buenos Aires. Service was too slow though.

Staying in Recoleta

Neighborhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterized by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighborhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centered on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
