Las Cabras was our first stop in Buenos Aires. Great atmosphere, nice garden, good/friendly service, a menu that suites every taste... we really liked it. The quesadillas are amazing, the meat is not the best you can have in BA, but it is good though.

Las Cabras is in the cool Palermo neighborhood. Is not an easy task to stand out and become a household name which is what Las Cabras has become in just a few years. I think that the bife de chorizo was beautiful. The bife come on a plate with caesar salad and it was very enjoyable to finally get some... More

We went here on our last night in BA and were not disappointed. The place was packed but we got a table within 2 minutes and were well looked after. The food was really tasty and the wine was excellent. It was also ridiculously cheap compared to the UK. Easily one of the best meals we had in Argentina and... More

I'm really sad to write this. This place is always busy and looks buzzing with atmosphere, but beware...the hype has gone to its head. Firstly the service was terrible, slow, waiters only dealing with their sections so you had to wait ages. Secondly I have family here and visit all the time and I have never been served oven cooked... More

This was a very refreshing experience because it is a solid neighborhood grill - not a fancy touristy restaurant. We had our last dinner in BA at Las Cabras. We had walked by it one night and had seen that it was bustling with locals waiting to get a table. They offer outdoor seating in a very nice front yard... More

Very busy place with locals and tourists, if you don't mind waiting for a table and being squeezed in it is worth it. The menu was nothing out of the ordinary but well executed and cheap! There is a great bar opposite to have a drink while you are waiting for your table, its best to get there when they... More

My husband and I went to Buenos Aires for Christmas. We took a bike tour with Biking Buenos Aires (highly recommended) and asked our guides where to go for our first Asado. We wanted a recommendation that was authentic and somewhere that the locals go as we call ourselves travelers, not tourists. This place certainly didn't disappoint! You should expect... More

After reading all the terrible reviews on here we went to Las Cabras (on the recommendation of a local) expecting terrible service. We couldn't have been better served.... the waitresses were friendly, helpful and no slower than anywhere else in South America. We did go at 8.30 to beat the rush and were glad we did as it got busier... More

Terrible service. Very long delays all the time. More than 20min each time. We came at 10:30pm left 1am…Many things didn’t arrive and they still charged us. Steak arrived well done/burned and they refused to replace it. The manager was even worse. We tried many restaurants in the area. No one was nearly as bad. For example - try La... More

Our first night in Buenos Aires, we met up with our destination wedding planner for an introductory dining experience. We leaned pretty heavily on Fabulous Weddings to tell us where we could get good food and night life in the Palermo Hollywood neighborhood. We were staying at the Own Hotel and interested in walking everywhere we could. Just a few... More
