I went to eat there twice with some friends for lunch around 12:30 pm and the place was busy . I had the Bife de Chorizo wich is a huge stake they served it on a wooden tray with French fries and roasted vegetables and an egg on top of the fries. I also went on another day with some... More

We went in this restaurant by mistake. We thought it was on our Guide but it was not. We went because on a Saturday, there was a huge line to get a table. We figured that it would be the same everywhere but it wasn't. Then we tried it the next day. It was awesomely good. Even though the place... More

Went here on the recommendation of one of our apartment hosts. Great choice. We arrived around 8pm and it was already hopping. Was definitely full by 9. My wife and I split the bife de chorizo platter (for 1 - it was plenty!) and it was excellent. The steak was great and the sides - cheese, vegetables, fries - were... More

We went here on recomodation from our hostel and wheren't disapointed. The restaurant was very crowdy but we got a place inside which was very lovely. But you should expect to wait for your table, it seems to be a favorit around here. The menu is spanisch, but the staff is very friendly and helps you to translate. My meat... More

Every time I visit Buenos Aires, I have dinner at Las Cabras. It's a classic. The wait is notoriously long, but if you get there early enough and secure a seat, the food is quite delicious. The prices are average and they even have a few items for vegetarians. However, this is a place for meat lovers, hands down.

Great value for money. Gets very busy though so if you come past about 9pm expect a 1 to 2 hour wait

Great option for a neighborhood parrilla. The atmosphere was buzzing, even though we went around 8:30 - early by Argentine standards. It appears to be a local favorite. Wine list is a bit lacking, but you can find some pretty good cheaper bottles on there. We were both happy with our steaks and even happier with the bill! It was... More

Las Cabras has great atmosphere and a packed outdoor patio which is great for dining on in the warm Buenos Aires spring evenings. I liked that you could order a sharing board that came with a steak and a wide variety of sides. For us, the steak didn't quite come up to the standards of some of the other places... More

This place is great. The Lomo Empanada was the best thing we've had in BA so far. The limondada was delicious as well. We had the mixed brochettes and Lomo a la cenas, and both were great. Very cool atmosphere, and would definitely recommend to anyone headed to BA.

We liked the atmosphere. It was buzzing! We went there twice in a week! We sat both inside and outside and liked both the food and the place! Reasonable (if not inexpensive) prices, fast service, nice people, interesting presentation, all food served on wooden plates and cutting boards.
