Good Beef, Lots of Food, Make Reservations!

We had a wonderful ribeye dinner. We were sharing the steak (they are LARGE) and ordered it medium rare. It came well done which made my husband happy. The waiter said I should have ordered it rare and had another steak cooked for me. It was VERY rare, even for me and I like rare, but it tasted... read more

Maybe when a restaurant gets lots of good reviews they get complacent. We arrived just after they opened but they were already busy. Service was slow, and when the waiter (who couldn't really care less) dumped the shared lomo on the table, it was barely warm. We were left to divide it ourselves. Disappointed. Maybe the guy had been fired.... More

My dear friends.... If you go to Buenos Aires and what to have the best meat of your life, you need to go to La Cabrera. The experience was more than perfect. Not only the food was delicious, but the service is unbeatable. If you are lucky enough, your waitress will be Chiche. He looked a little grumpy at the... More

you can't really go wrong here. The service has always been great. The problem is deciding what cut of meat you want because it's all so Muy Bueno! The portions are quite generous. Their half orders are enough for two people! This time around had the Rueda de Chorizo and a Rib Eye that was insane with flavor, it comes... More

Maybe our expectations were high for an argentine steak house. The steak was ok and service was rushed at the beginning though they let us stay for a long time. The waiter also kept on trying to up sell us on the menu.

We ordered with my wife a couple of steaks and they were delicious. Additionally, they come with a very good and abundant side dishes. The only Cons of the restaurant are: 1)The high prices of the wines and they don´t have too many options in ordering wine by the glass. 2) Timing with the reservation process -give yourself plenty of... La Cabrera Norte is great as it accommodates larger parties. The food was unbelievable. I spent a week in Argentina and the 1/2 porcion de lomo was the BEST steak I ever tried. Definitely suggest going to this restaurant!

We always take our Argentine family for dinner when we come to visit and this year we selected La Cabrera Norte. Because of a misunderstanding of the time of the reservation we lost our table for 12. After much negotion (por favor, senor) we were finally offered a table outside on the street. The service was attentive for most of... More

We had reservations, but the entry process resembled something akin to a Hollywood version of people trying to get into a hot club... It was chaotic and undignified... And no real need since the place is much larger than it appears. We were seated at 9 for a 8:30 reservation at a table for 4 that was separated with a... More

La Cabrera is far the best Grill Parrilla in Buenos Aires, good service, quality price range are very good, the secret is to order to share, because the servings are huge, no need to order salads, everything comes with small side orders so it is the best choice for a good dinner or a nice lunch while visiting Buenos Aires.... Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
