If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would! We (my hubby and I) made reservations and they took us in as soon as we arrived. The service is unbelievably great in city where service is not really too important. I began ordering our meals and the waiter stopped me. He reduced my order for me, explaining... More

Honestly, I have had a lot of good steak in Argentina and I wasnt even expecting this much as I thought it was just a touristy spot to eat another good steak in Buenos Aires.... I was tought better! The waiters are attentive and give good recomendations, allthough tend to bring you too much. We had half (400g!!!) of the... More

There are much better restaurants in Buenos Aires. Like Sucre and Tomo I, I made the reservation here based on its place on the San Pelligrino list. La Cabrera does not deserve to be on there. First -- terrible reservations and service. We made our reservation at the original restaurant down the street. Our flight arrived in Buenos Aires later... More

We went here for lunch; the service was informed and friendly, the food was delicious and same for the wine. One of the most atmospheric restaurants I've been to, any where. Totally recommend La Cabrera Norte. Couple of observations: don't order too much, as the helpings are enormous, and the waiter will offer a wide range of complimentary side dishes... More

We had an absolutely amazing meal at La Cabrera Norte. I'd recommend booking a table on their website well in advance to ensure you get a table. The atmosphere was really cool with all kinds of fun and funky antiques all around and the food was absolutely amazing. They started us off with a salad course, very fresh and clean.... More

There is no question that La Cabrera Norte, like La Cabrera right up the street, is touristy. But, it is also great fun. The décor is unique and the wait staff attentive. The menu is extensive and the portions are enormous - was too large to finish even when you are sharing with others. The entrees come with a variety... More

First dinner with my girlfriend in BA and this was a great introduction to the superior steaks you get in BA. Good service and nice atmosphere in this small restaurant. Make sure to make a reservation as it's a popular place and only a few tables. Above average price but not expensive.

We enjoyed a great meal here. Excellent steak, salad and wine. We did go during happy hour though, when they offer 40% off food and drinks. It would have been quite expensive otherwise, we saved more than 200 pesos. Probably not worth it at full price given how many places in Buenos Aires offer great steak!

La Cabrera was good, but didn't live up to the hype for us. We waited for a long time for a table (our fault for not making a reservation and glad we got in!), but the servers put out salami and cheese and champagne for everyone waiting, which was really nice. When we got in, they were out of my... More

Okay so the steak wasn't as tender or flavoursome as other places we've been too but eating here was still a good experience.  The place is huge and the decor is awesome.  It was packed with locals when we went on a Thursday evening with people queuing out side.  Make a reservation in advance if you don't want to wait....
