I went to this restaurant with high expectations but it turned out that this was the king of tourist traps. I went during happy hour and ordered the wagyu rump steak. It was well cooked but the meat was of such a poor quality and I'm even doubting that it was really wagyu. I've had already wagyu weveral times in... More

I have been to many restaurants to BA but the quality of the food and the service of La Cabrera is very difficult to be found. Many good options of salads, top meat quality, great cava and mostly warm and fast service from smiling people - in very reasonable prices for its class

I stopped by here recently for a quick dinner. The restaurant has two buildings located about 500 feet from each other. The decor is quite funky with a relatively small dining area. We had some blood pudding and sausages - both of which were of good quality. We had flank steak for our main - there was plenty of it... More

Great steak house in the heart of Palermo's restaurant district. Be aware that the portions are big and almost everything is to share. Also, most dishes come with many sides (although not indicated on the menu) so don't over order. Same owners have 3 different restaurants (all under "La Cabrera" name) within 2 blocks. Same menu, prices, everything. Still, they... More

Its considered the number one quintessential Buenos Aires Steak house. People were so impressed we were going there last night. I consider it a wasted meal. Decor was fun and unique and so was our waiters understanding of English. He seemed to speak passive-aggressive very well! When discussing the wine choices he simply could not understand the questions we were... More

Came here after eating in several different parrillas in BA. Had I gotten to this place the first night I arrived, I wouldn't have gone anywhere else, plain and simple. Don Julio, La Brigada, (and two others whose names escape me right now) they pale in comparison to this AMAZING FREAKING PLACE. I had the 400 gram ribeye the first... More

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would! We (my hubby and I) made reservations and they took us in as soon as we arrived. The service is unbelievably great in city where service is not really too important. I began ordering our meals and the waiter stopped me. He reduced my order for me, explaining... More

Honestly, I have had a lot of good steak in Argentina and I wasnt even expecting this much as I thought it was just a touristy spot to eat another good steak in Buenos Aires.... I was tought better! The waiters are attentive and give good recomendations, allthough tend to bring you too much. We had half (400g!!!) of the... More

There are much better restaurants in Buenos Aires. Like Sucre and Tomo I, I made the reservation here based on its place on the San Pelligrino list. La Cabrera does not deserve to be on there. First -- terrible reservations and service. We made our reservation at the original restaurant down the street. Our flight arrived in Buenos Aires later... More
