We returned, as usual I ordered the Cobb salad with no bacon, no dressing, just olive oil. The waiter brought it together with a bottle of olive oil and the aceto. Delicious. Coffee and off we went. Congrats to all the waiters. The gentleman in charge of the cashier is a bit slow. The ones who show you to your... More

and the staff is most charming. Be sure to make a reservation, especially for dinner. Also perfect for business lunch at noon. Ask for Roy: he is the best waiter in town. Do not miss Melo!!

We visited this restaurant based on a recommendation from a local woman we met the night before and loved it. The food is delicious, service is great and it's very affordable. We ate a starter, main course and drank a bottle of wine for US$ 35. When we arrived at 8pm the restaurant was empty but quickly filled up around... More

This restaurant was near the place where we were staying, so we saw it a couple of times. I wanted to try it since it looked really nice from the outside and they didn't had crazy expensive menus or anything. But everytime, it was empty. So my boyfriend took this as a bad sign and avoid this restaurant for the... More

Local restaurant, friendly waiters, nice ambient, family place and tasteful food. The wine list is good, prices are very nice and you get the fantastic, flavourful argentinian cuisine. We will definitely come back! It is a local gem, hidden at Recoleta!

Definitely a well hidden treasure that seems reserved for the neighborhood locals! We went there for dinner, and even though we didn't have a reservation, they gave us a table. I thought it was weird because it seemed empty! In less than 20 minutes the place got packed! No wonder! Everything was delicious, the meat was cooked exactly how I... More

I wandered in here one night, and couldn't believe how incredibly affordable the prices were for such a highly-lauded restaurant. The food (a blend of traditional Argentine parrilla and Italian) was overall delicious, and the atmosphere was sophisticated but not pretentious. Of course, I ordered beef, but also pasta on separate occasions. All were delicious, but I especially recommend the... More

The warm, welcoming, fabulous staff are only one reason we love Melo. It doesn't matter what meal you order, it will be superb! We dream about Melo. We plan what we will eat when at Melo and keep coming back. After 13 years visiting Buenos Aires, Melo remains our top choice. Enjoy!!!

Located on Melo and Callao, it has been chosen by neighbors as a must. Excellent place to dine after work, before going home. A bit noisy in the evenings. Excellent atmosphere for business meetings at noon, when it is not so crowded. Try the salmon, or the baby beef, or the dulce de leche mousse. Troy is the best waiter... More

After walking several blocks just to go to this restaurant, we got the disappointed surprise that the door was locked! The restaurant was packed inside, but because they didn't want to receive more clients, they just decided to lock the door and keep anyone else from getting in! I find this "practice" a bit strange, and could say something about... More
