It is a fine place mainly exotic but you will probably want to eat something else afterwards. The food is good though very spicy, service is ok. I believe it all has to do with the indians beign poor people, a lot of rice, a lot of sauce but not much meat ... You may try it!

Hi, We decided to order in and were tired of the more traditional Argentine fare and decided to go with one of our at home favorites, Indian. Used an on line ordering service called BuenosAiresDelivery.com which linked through the restaurants website and it went smooth and the food was great. It arrived very quickly in spiffy individual styrofoam bowls that... More

The food was good enough... but should it really cost over 1200 pesos for three people to have an appetizer & an entrée, with either 2 beers or cokes each?? On the other hand… I spent half of that amount taking two people for a nice steak dinner at Don Julio's the other night!

I absolutely LOVE Tandoor. Its 2 blocks away from my apartment, and this week I have been there 3 times. Since leaving the States, I have been craving Indian food, and when my boyfriend and I discovered this place we were in love. Being vegetarian, I can only speak for the non-meat dishes. Also the chef's are from India, so... More

I had the chicken tikka masala and my friend had the navratan korma. both dishes were pretty tasty but a little bland. Perhaps the staff are adjusting the dishes to the palate of those who frequent the restaurant and had I asked for my dish to be created with a little more "indian" in it, I would have been more... Started with naan and dips which were excellent. Entrée of chicken kebab and prawn kebab from the tandoor, sensational. Main of lamb curry and chicken tikka curry followed by coffee and dessert all superb. Good deep flavours the equal of most in australia. Service was fast and friendly and spoke good english.menu in English also. Well worth going. Loved it.

I had the hot salmon appetizer and the lamb curry extra hot as an entree. In this era of import restrictions it's nice to see some diversity like Indian sauces and naan bread. The carrot dessert was also delicious and appropriate to polish off the wine.

Cheap and awesome food. The place and the staff were awesome, very professional. We ordered a combined set of entrances and salmon for the main plate, altogether with a fine bottle of wine. All great!

Ate here twice during a two week stay in Argentina. Both times, our group ordered the Ginger Lemonade! It was very refreshing. Before your meal, they bring out naan and different dipping sauces that change daily. I could not get enough of it. The naan is light and fluffy and yummy in my tummy. The first time, husband and I... More

For anyone knowing anything about Argentina it can be hard to find anywhere that serves spicy food. We have been to a couple of the other 'Indian' restaurants in BA only to be served meat stew, without any spice. So we were really pleasantly surprised by Tandoor. A smart little restaurant, with good service and pretty good curries - at... More
