We had a fabulous experience of parrilla here. The waiters were attentive, friendly & helpful. The food was fabulous, from the sauces that come with the bread and are replenished throughout the meal, through fabulously grilled offerings to dessert.

Nowhere as good as Fervor. Read the Yelp reviews in prep to visiting BA and thought this was the "go to" place. Wife proved otherwise with Alvear Palace's Fervor recommendation. Signed wines bottles (hokey) are part of the decoration (?). As if I care? I attempt to avoid places that are kid friendly. Probably a good place to go with... More

An old-school Argentinian steak-house vibe. Open Parilla (grill) kitchen, walls adorned with empty wine bottled, leather table clothes. Really fun place to eat. Steaks were incredibly flavorful and tender. Always had the thicker cut strip steak. Would definitely recommend over La Cabrera!

What a great place to have a steak. We were a talbe of nine with two small children. Service was fast and friendly. Steaks were prepared perfectly. Portions are very large here, so be prepared to eat a loot of meat. Even the half-portions are large by my standards.

I liked Don Julio. It's always packed. And it is good. But this is my 4th trip to Argentina. And when I come here, I stay for several months. I have family here. They prepare AMAZING asados. I've even gotten pretty good at making asados myself. So, I've learned a thing or two. And I've become a bit of a... More

Everything I was looking for in an Argentinian parilla - world class steak, huge wine list (expert guidance given by patient and knowledgeable waiter) and authentic ambience of locals just doing their thing. We turned up at around 11pm on a weeknight and still had to wait for a table, made easier by a few drink but very worth it.

We arrived very early at 6pm and got a table immediately. Although we don't speak Spanish, and the waiter didn't speak English we got along just fine. We did have some starters which was a bit of a mistake - should have saved our appetite for the steak. We both had sirloin and shared some roasted vegetables and a bottle... More

We loved our evening at Don Julio. The owner greeted us at the door and offered a glass of champagne, the waiters were quick and professional, and the food and wine were the best we tried in Buenos Aires this trip. Make sure to book ahead since they fill up.

Ojo de bife (ribeye) was delicious, best meat I had in Buenos Aires. Paired with a good Malbec.. Definitively one of the top parrillas in Buenos Aires! I highly recommend it!
