Ate here on a chilly night in BA and it was superb, maybe overall the best restaurant I have eaten at (and that's quite a few). We had to wait a while (because it's so good and popular) but the staff were efficient and even gave us blankets and served us fizzy wine while we waited outside - class! Regards... More

Went there for the first time on a saturday night place was packed and waited about 45 mins. The best part of my wait was the never ending glasses of wine and the attention by waiter and manager making sure I was taken care of and updating me on my wait time. Very tasty steaks reasonably priced

The best steakhouse in Buenos Aires! We are steak almost every night here for a week and this place earned its reputation for a reason. We arrived a few minutes late for our reservation bc of traffic congestion and were treated to champagne as we waited a moment for our table. The tenderloin melts in your mouth. Superb service! We had to wait 40 mins for a table as it was Friday night and we hadn't booked, but they were very friendly and gave us a seat and a glass of wine whilst we waited. The tenderloin steak was INCREDIBLE and definitely worth the wait! Perhaps the best steak I've ever had! Definitely go for this cut, as it... More

We went for lunch since we didn't want to wait to eat at 8pm. The place was full, even at 2:30pm, of locals. The t-bone was huge and the filet was quite large. Both were tender and cooked medium rare. We also ordered 2 salads, one with blue cheese and pears in it, the other, simply greens. They charge you... More

Ate there for lunch yesterday. Pretty good crowd for 1:30pm and got seated immediately. Since we are Spanish language-challenged, we appreciated the English translations included for each menu item. The breakdown: Cubierto 46,00 (seems to translate to a cover charge), 2 glasses of wine 96,00, 1 bottle of water 24,00, 1 provoleta (grilled goat cheese with subtle seasonings, very rich... More

You've heard all about this place, you've had great steaks, you've done fine dining...but still, Don Julio delivers. The host was incredible at making guests feel like regulars. The wait staff were knowledgeable with the comprehensive wine selection and food menu, and they were friendly and professional. The kitchen's timing was fantastic, and the Ojo de Bife (ribeye) was perfection.... More

This Parrilla house is not as known as some other (e.g. La Cabrera), but it is as top level as any. Place, service and food are of the best quality. Price is a bit higher than most meals here. If you are a meat lover, don't waste time on bread, but don't miss out on the cheese (provoleta).

I went to Argentina (from Norway) with my Argentine wife, and high expectations of fantastic grilled meat, the best beef of the world. Until today, only her mother has delivered perfect parrilla. Highly recomended places, like La Brigada, and many others, just did not deliver. Until we ate at Don Julio. Perfect empanadas, perfect sweetbreads as starters. And the beef... More
