The best steak ever!

My wife and I had heard a lot about this restaurant before our visit. The interior decor is nice but traditional for a steakhouse even though it had many original touches. My wife and I had heard a lot about this restaurant before our visit. The interior decor is nice but traditional for a steakhouse even though it had many original touches. Super delicious and juicy beef. We tried the bife de lomo and bife de ojo. The side dishes were also great, especially the grilled vegetables. Lovely place, good value for money. Would definitely recommend it!

Even though the "La Cabrera" was recommended to us far more than Don Julio we still wanted to give this restaurant a try - and what a great evening it turned out to be: excellent meat (and we've eaten quite a bit of that in Argentina so far), other dishes very good as well, portion sizes more than enough but... Loved this steakhouse in Buenos Aires. The service was very helpful and kind. The decor of the restaurant makes you feel like you're in a country house in the Argentine countryside. And the food is very good. Well cooked steaks, nice side options, and an amazing flan for dessert. The Malbec choices are plentiful. When we waited for our table,... More

Tried this place out based on reviews alone, and was slightly disappointed, maybe because we had such high expectations from other reviews. It was ok, but nothing special. Found it a bit overpriced - and I'm not one who minds spending money on a nice meal!! But my meal came to over $70CAD, without any alcohol! Steak was good, they... More

Loved this restaurant. The skill of the guys cooking dozens of steaks at a time over coals is great to watch. The food was great and the staff were friendly and knowledge. Hope to return here soon.

Given Argentinian propensity for all things asado, it is rather difficult to pick a favorite. But this one was definitely one of the top ones. The lomo was like butter and chorizzo was pretty great too. They were out of skirt stake so we did not get to try that. Excellent, unobtrusive but very attentive service. I would recommend reserving... More

Fabulous, crowded, bottle lined restaurant, with leather table cloths, where you can watch the chefs at work. Only a lunch, so 2 of us shared a large fillet steak and delicious salad. Not expensive. Excellent meal and service.

Very good meal. The staff was very professional, nice atmosphere, very crowded, prices adequate. We will come back.

Heard many good things about this place and it was nice but not as great as some say. The service, decor and atmosphere were all very nice but the steak was just good, not great. It was also a little cold.
