You've heard all about this place, you've had great steaks, you've done fine dining...but still, Don Julio delivers. The host was incredible at making guests feel like regulars. The wait staff were knowledgeable with the comprehensive wine selection and food menu, and they were friendly and professional. The kitchen's timing was fantastic, and the Ojo de Bife (ribeye) was perfection.... More

This Parrilla house is not as known as some other (e.g. La Cabrera), but it is as top level as any. Place, service and food are of the best quality. Price is a bit higher than most meals here. If you are a meat lover, don't waste time on bread, but don't miss out on the cheese (provoleta).

I went to Argentina (from Norway) with my Argentine wife, and high expectations of fantastic grilled meat, the best beef of the world. Until today, only her mother has delivered perfect parrilla. Highly recomended places, like La Brigada, and many others, just did not deliver. Until we ate at Don Julio. Perfect empanadas, perfect sweetbreads as starters. And the beef... More

After having lived a year in Buenos Aires, I can safely say that Don Julio is the best steakhouse I've been to in Buenos Aires. The place is cozy, the meat is great (cooked perfectly to order, tender and tasty), so are the side orders and the service irreproachable. Reservations highly recommended as it gets busy pretty much every night... More

We had a variety of different types of steaks and meats. As we have found in Buenos Aires that everything seems to come with chips and cheese. Not many vegetable available. We didn't find the steak as awesome as we had expected but the restaurant was lovely. When we were leaving at 10.30pm there was a queue waiting to get... More

This warehouse style restaurant is located in the trendy neighborhood of Palermo Soho. We met here with longtime friends and our young adult children. The nicest thing about the setting is that, despite being completely full and having high ceilings, it was quiet and comfortable and very conducing to soft conversation, this was very welcome. The service was efficient and... More

We were recommended this place by a friend and went last night. Wine list was excellent. Good recommendations from the waiter. Service was good and atmosphere was lively and relaxed. We had eaten afternoon tea at the Alvear a few hours before so didn't have starters but the steaks were all good, with the highlight being by wife's ribeye which... More

Wonderful food, in a warm friendly atmosphere. An abundance of waiters tending to our every need. We were seated beside the grill which was great to watch as the chefs took out chunk after chunk of meat and cooked it to perfection. All three dishes and sides were amazing, with enough meat to feed at least 6. Will definitely be... More

Wow- this place has to be one of my favourite restaurants I ate in South America. And I ate at some very nice and high end restaurants. I am a big foodie! My husband also loved his meal as much as I did. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection!!! Not only was the steak beautiful but the entrees and... More
