So after reading all the reviews about Argentinian meat I came to the conclusion that's all hype. It's good but not great. I ordered a ribeye steak medium, which I got. In my head I was envisioning a mouth watering juicy steak. However after the first bite it was kinda anti-climatic. It wasn't the first piece of meat I had... More

Very busy local place with typical Argentine menu of mostly beef. Great service, good food and fun place to dine. Excellent wine list albeit a bit pricey. Reservations probably a must.

I have never managed to eat more than half a steak in my life so I was very tentative. However, everyone told me that Argentina has some of the best steak in the world so I had to try it. Don Julio was recommended as the best place in Palermo so I went as soon as I arrived. Unfortunately it... More

The "Bife de Chorizo" was incredible, the Malbec divine. Very charmed to leave a message on a bottle. Fabulous authentic place - a MUST do in BsAs!

I could tell just by walking by this restaurant that it was going to have delicious steak - it just looks like a steakhouse should. And sure enough, the reviews checked out, so we headed there for our last meal in Buenos Aires. Even though the restaurant was about to close the kitchen post-lunch, they fired up steaks for us... The staff are friendly, speak English and are very helpful. The steak was huge in size but cooked exactly as requested. Lovely sides and a vast selection of wines. Highly recommended.

the real shocker was that I was expecting a very touristic place with fairly good food. What I found is a place with a real soul. the food is amazing. You'll be treated like a king. I'm travelling alone so I'm very switched on as to what's happening around. Yes there are a lot of tourist, but that will not... More

We were recommended Don Julio's by an Argentinian friend and were certainly not disappointed. The entire meal from starter to dessert, was delicious; the fillet steak was easily the best steak ever and just melted in your mouth. The bottle of Malbec we shared was perfect. The restaurant was very busy and there was a queue to get in so... More

You go to a parilla in Buenos Aires, you expect a treat. I wasn't sure which to pick, and Don Julio's seemed a bit hyped/touristic. But there is a simple reason: it is great! We arrived at peak hour 8.30 and were told there would be a 40 minute wait. We were served with a free generous glass of sparkly... More

We choosed this restaurant based on tripadvisor's reviews and we didnt regret. The food was delicious, steak was properly prepared, so tasty. Wine was excellent, atmosphere great and the service on high level. Prices reasonable. Recommendations!!!
