We ate here a couple of days ago because my daughter recommended it following a trip to Argentina in February. We booked because this restaurant does get booked up. The menu is good but the portions are huge! My husband and I asked about the size of the steaks becuase we had been warned about portion sizes by the receptionist... More

Don Julio is a wonderful steakhouse. The service was top notch and the food was great. Conveniently located in Palermo.

First meal in BA was at Don Julio and we certainly were not disappointed. The empanadas, steaks and wine were all very good and place just has an authentic feel to it. Don Julio was a little more expensive than some of the other similar restaurants we tried in BA, but definitely worth it.

This place is probably one of the better parillas in palermo. I always take guests here and they leave very happy. The problem I find with a lot of restaurants in this city is consistency and Don Julio's doesn't so much have this problem so for that alone, the higher prices don't bother me. You get less for more but... More

Interesting mix between foreigners and locals create a nice atmosphere, the place is cosy and its nice to be able to de the barbecue. The cuts were generous, in fact we ate the four of us ( 2 children in the group) with two plates and a salad. Absolutely necessary to make a reservation!

A very good parilla. Good menu, and of course the steaks are outstanding. Probably the best flan I have ever had. Good wine selection.

Still the best food experience in Buenos Aires. We didn't know what to expect: The inside has an old days flavour and a strong argentinian character, with the grill (parrilla) in good sight. It will satisfy couples and group of friends. Service is flawless, fast and will help you with suggestions on wine and meat combinations. Food: meat is excellent,... More

My Fiance couldn't wait to try a parrilla restaurant when visiting Argentina. So for our first night in Buenos Aires he chose this place. Staff at our hotel also told us that this was a good pick. We were lucky that it was walking distance from our hotel. However, when we arrived we were told that the restaurant was fully... More

We went to this restaurant twice during our stay in Buenos Aires. Once indoors when we arrived and again outdoors for lunch. It was excellent beef and offered vegetarian options for two of us. I would recommend this for the above . Ambiance was great and appears to be authentic . Waiter staff was great. We were with adult children.

After doing my research on TripAdvisor this restaurant was on our must eat at in bA list. It happened to be right down the road from where were staying and our first meal here. The service, atmosphere, and food all exceeded our expectations! Thank you Don Julio's for an authentic and fabulous first experience in BA. We may be back... More
