Great Northern Argentinian Food

Expect a traditional meal, nothing fancy, meat cuts are good, as good as the next "parrilla", very decent prices. Perhaps the northern dishes are the main attraction. Don't miss the "arroz de campo", kind of a risotto with mushrooms, cheese and cream, to dye for!.

If you want the best steaks this is worth every pesos to get there. A taxi from the centre will be around 100 pesos (£7), but you'll save that by eating here, cheaper than many in the centre.

This is the cheapest parrilla in Cañitas area. You can eat a "parrillada" for two (sausage, black sausage, offals, different cuts of beef and chicken... fries included) for the price of a steak in an upscale nearby parrilla. Quality is not the strong point here, which depending on the day it can range from decent to mediocre. But c'mon, it's... More

I was in BsAs for a week and Las Cholas was one of my favorite places, it is clean, the food is amazing, the portions are big and the price is the best part. Try the parrilla para dos or their stews. If you are close to Canitas this restaurant is a must.

The meat was too cold, salad and beer too warm, fries too dry. Far from satisfactory. Nice terrace on the first floor. Cheap food but not all that nice.

This restaurant is in a cool area called Las Canitas in Palermo. We ate late and shared a steak that was cooked the way we like it (not well done!) and had great flavour. There was an abundance of sides with it such as egg, fries, pumpkin, potato, provolone, onion - mmm! Also got an empanada that was so delicious.... More

Las Cholas is what you can call a typical Parrilla Argentina. The atmosphere is simple, but cozy at the same time in one of the best neighborhoods of Buenos Aires (palermo - las canetas). The best thing about it is the fact it is a local restaurant for local people. In that sense, they won't charge you a tourist price... More

The restaurant is located in a nice neighbourhood in las canetas. I do recommend to pick another restaurant as the food in Las Cholas is not very good. They have very limited choice for vegetarians. Meat on the other hand is also not very good, some chicken is still raw which is simply dangerous for your health.

Las Cholas its a argentinean barbecue restaurant in Las Canitas Neighbourhood on the back of the Palermo Polo Field. The ares is quite nice and has a lot of bars and restaurants. The area its a parking nightmare so your best choice is to take a cab or a bus. The restaurants itself is a part of a chain of... More

Great place to feel at home, order homemade style food, and have a few beers. Attention was great, food even better. I will make sure I come back on my next trip. If you stay in the Polanco area, you have to try this place!

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
