Shiny white-and-red interior; pegasus on the wall. Inside a big and expensive hotel. Why would I go here? Hands down, this was one of the best meals I have had in Buenos Aires. The atmosphere and service made it memorable. Normally I would never think of eating in a place like this, but I would go back in an instant.... More

We ate here on a trip to BA and right from making the booking to arriving they were keen to deal wit my wife's gluten and dairy intolerances. The front of house staff and our waitress were amazing, she went above and beyond and gave us a tour round the hotel which we need to check out when we are... More

Great food, awsome atmosphere. The restaurant itself offers a great experience when it comes to decoration. It´s different than we ever saw. A unique color exprience in a unique hotel experience. Not cheap but you can have a great meal for a good price. Don´t know if it is for BAs first visitors but if you know a few other... More

Went expectantly for dinner last night. I had heard about their 5 or 8 course tasting menu and we were determined to try it out, especially as the 5 course paired with wines was reputed tobe 420 pesos, or about 40 US dollars. I even asked teh man on booking if we could reserve that option, and he put us... More

Once you step foot in the door one is amazed by the decor. The staff is very friendly and speaks english. Luc gave a good wine recommendation of a very limited Malbec produced ( which I had tasted at another restaurant) the food was visually and delectably amazing. The only minus would be base/music from the bar next door which... More

Everything from the service level, to the wine list, to each dish was perfectly executed. Honestly, made a reservation. You won't be disappointed.

This review is a long time coming. My visit to El Bistro was a while back, but I still think about it from time to time. I don't just think about how insanely cool this place looks and feels, I think about the specific tasting menu dishes I ate there. Sometimes I can even taste that borscht. Yes. This place... More

Got a reservation on Saturday night at El Bistro. The room is beautiful in quite a spectacular hotel. A little pricy by Buenos Aires standards, but in line with Madera prices. We went with the tasting menu and wine pairings. The food and wine was very good and a great welcome to BA. I was a little shocked that they... More
