attentive staff, awesome desserts

we were welcomed and cared for by very attentive staff who explained everything to us, including a very good wine recommendation. The white lava cake with olive oil was incredible!

The Faena Hotel and its dining/bars are architecturally stunning! We enjoyed a late dinner in the Philippe Starck-designed BISTRO SUR, after attending a philharmonic performance at the Teatro Colon. A wonderful ending to our evening – excellent attentive service, an extensive wine list however the menu options, although creative, were somewhat limited. Their menu offers innovative globally-inspired dishes - culinary... More

Magical evening for couples. I would not especially bring children here. This is for adults. The menu is not typical either. Come with a open mind and ready for a different experiance in dinning. One you will never forget.

Sat down last night with my girlfriend at around 8pm and had the most goddamn amazing meal ever. We both did the chefs Rodrigo Vazquez tasting menu with wine paring and couldn't get enough. The chef kills it. The ambiance was cozy and intimate. Also, hands down the most amazing and friendly staff we've ever met: wonderful, helpful, funny. This... More

Wow. The Faena Hotel is simply stunning. Even walking up to this phenomenal restaurant is an experience…and then you eat. I can not rave enough about how great this restaurant is. The service staff is phenomenal and so accommodating. The amuse bouche was a great intro to what would be an even better meal. I had the duck breast which... More

Shiny white-and-red interior; pegasus on the wall. Inside a big and expensive hotel. Why would I go here? Hands down, this was one of the best meals I have had in Buenos Aires. The atmosphere and service made it memorable. Normally I would never think of eating in a place like this, but I would go back in an instant.... More

We ate here on a trip to BA and right from making the booking to arriving they were keen to deal wit my wife's gluten and dairy intolerances. The front of house staff and our waitress were amazing, she went above and beyond and gave us a tour round the hotel which we need to check out when we are... More

Great food, awsome atmosphere. The restaurant itself offers a great experience when it comes to decoration. It´s different than we ever saw. A unique color exprience in a unique hotel experience. Not cheap but you can have a great meal for a good price. Don´t know if it is for BAs first visitors but if you know a few other... More

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighborhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighborhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolize this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
