We went here for a nice view of the river, big mistake. The staff could not have been bothered. Two of our group never got their meals. No explanation other than "you cancelled it". Not so. Meals delivered not so great. Walk pn and find someplace else. Waiters sneered. Hostess non apologetic. Really?

We wanted to visit a parilla near our hotel, so we decided to go to El Mirasol in Puerto Madero. We ordered two different steaks, but the meat was tough, stringy, greasy. Apart of the view we did not enjoy the meal at all.

Ate dinner here several times - great views across the docks to the highrise buildings beyond. Was one of the few places that was happy to serve tired travelers from the U.S. at 7 pm, rather than the usual late night dining hours. Excellent salads, tapas, and Patagonia beer.

We liked the Sweetbreads the best. The meat tasted too "beefy" and it is not as tender as in the States. I arrived in Buenos Ayres on 26/12/12 by MSC Cruise for a day and did an upgrade of the capital "portenha". Since 2007 not visited it. Are restoring several historic buildings and streets in the city center. Always visit Puerto Madero and a lunch there is a good choice. Every tourist must try it! For couples, firends or family. The best quality of food. Very good meat. Also has an acceptable wine menu.

If you are after a good piece of meat in BA and an excellent salad (I advice the Macrobiotica... beware, you should size it as it is for 3 or 4 people), el Mirasol is a great place to go.
