Delicious

We had a great experience. Waitress was friendly & food was delicious and portions are big. We ordered a platter of veal fondue that was to die for!

One of the best meals I had during my three week visit to Portugal. Chef Carla was GREAT - not only her food (which was delicious!) but her personality. I went with all her recommendations and she was PERFECT. Mussels to start. Crusted salmon entree. Molten chocolate cake tower for dessert. Wine with it all. Frozen aperitif to close it... More

An elegant deco and a beautiful garden. However, chairs were not clean properly and given the amount of pigeons in the city it is an issue to be addressed. Payment with cards was not available and we were informed only at the end of our meal. Service needs to improve as well for this type of restaurant

We ate here on a Sunday evening so it was quiet - the setting with a lovely garden was charming and the host was absolutely lovely although she didn't speak much English, explained the options and we had one of the best dining experiences in our trip to Portugal with excellent fresh fish and local white wine.

Impressive at first sight, yet the food a bit pretensious. Over priced for the food quantity and quality.

Bit overprized for the offer. A respectful effort to serve gourmet meals, but not quite there yet. A tip is to advice costumers to link entrees, appetizers and dessert, just like each meal is a story with introduction, middle and conclusion. A restaurant is not a fine dinning or gourmet just by high prizes. Food quality and dishes connections and... More

We have been a number of times to Tomar and have struggled to find a nice place with good food and good service. This place has what we are looking for when dining out. The restaurant is super clean, very nicely decorated, the waitress was attentive and happy to do what she does. The food was different and very good.... More

We had been to this restaurant in March and had a very bad experience. We decided to give it another opportunity and went back last Saturday. Bad idea! It was even worst than before. They were short of employees but kept accepting reservations. The owner and Chef was personally attending the tables and had a temporary apprentice in the kitchen.... More

Despite being recommended by the travel guides, (or perhaps because..?), this restaurant does not serve good food. The arroz with duck was bland and lacking much of its key ingredient, the salad was overly salted and our wine was bitterly unpleasant. The waitress was charming, as was the decor, but that couldn't redeem the place.

Food is of a good standard but above average prices for Tomar. Asked for house wine but was advised it was only available at lunchtime.. Strange as we saw a Portuguese couple sharing a carafe of red. Be warned the wine list is overpriced.
