Sat inside which had a lovely buzz about it, very busy. Food was good but had cod and was a bit on the dry side but think that is because of the way it is cooked in Portugal.

We had dinner there twice, some friends also had dinner there several times and the food was always delicious, the fish very fresh, the staff very friendly and attentive. It is a traditional fish restaurant. I recommend the Cataplanas which are the best I ever ate anywhere and enough for 2 or 3 people. Order some starters because the cataplanas... More

Had a very nice meal here in July 2013. The waitress presented us with an octopus salad for starters and we decide to give it a go. I found the octopus parts to be like eating rubbery chicken but it was worth the try. Salmon steaks were really nice and the whole meal, including wine, was just 34 euro.

Visited this restaurant based on reviews on here. It was a Sunday night so was quiet. However, food was very basic and lacking in taste. I had moqueca which was ok at best, and fish was full of bones. Rice didn't seem cooked enough and was very bitty. We paid the same as we had done at pizza na pedra... More

We asked the hotel to recommend a couple of good local restaurants that were typically Portuguese, and this was one of them. We ate at lunchtime; the menu was comprehensive and consisted of fish and meat (but mainly fish).

Lulas (squid) and Chocos (cuttlefish) were outstanding and the moqueca was almost as good as the ones we ate in Brazil. Best prices, too. Service was OUTSTANDING as well! It's the first fish restaurant going left out of Real Marina.

I ate here and had the seafood rice. It comes with prawns and clams with rice. I wanted to try the Cockles but it was sold out. The food was average. I find Portugese like to put a lot of salt in their cooking. Good service and friendly staff although service is a bit slow.
