Having been told that we really should eat at this restaurant we made an effort - expecting something special. Having been seated inside (all tables outside were reserved) it was to be noted that the restaurant was full of foreign tourists (not something I use as a good sign). We asked for a regional dish and were told quite disdainfully... More

As well as Having to wait 1 hour for our food to come, it came after a table that arrived after us. When pointed out that the food was late Antonio simply said 'yeah it's worth it' instead of even apologising or coming to tell us it was going to be late. Not worth the trek for foreign food rather... More

Lovely staff matched only by the great food on offer and some lovely wines. Missing you! Made to feel very welcome on each occasion we visited.

Visited twice over last two weeks, great food both times. Great service, makes you feel welcome, good atmosphere and very tasty food at good price.

Whilst the food was lovely, be aware of the bread, dips, olives and cheese that are on the table as you arrive - the price of these items is high and you are not told that there will even be a charge. When we did complain that not all items had been eaten the waiter was not helpful and so... More

Pleasant interior and good food sadly let down by the charges for bread, olives, butter and other nibbles/sachets brought to the table and not asked for or eaten. Owners attitude very poor when this was pointed out, added over 40 euros to bill for party of 10 adults/8 children just in the above. Put us all off returning for rest... More

We enjoyed our evening out during our last night at Quinta Botanica! We had a nice ambiance on the terrace. . .one of us had the quail, one the fish and one the turkey. . . all delicious food! We had friendly hosts and good service. Highly recommended!

We were recommended to dine here by a local and we were not disappointed. There is a small but varied menu, with excellent carpaccio, scallops and other starters, but we went to taste their renowned fillet steak, some served on a hot stone, effectively to cook for for yourself, and others prepared to order with a range of sauces. The... More

The kind of place you don't want to review because it's so good you would hate not to be able to get a table next time you visit. We ate three put off five nights at this excellent family run restaurant. Every dish was fresh, well cooked, well seasoned and served with care and the utmost professionalism - a true... More

We spent a week in Moncarapacho and this is the only restaurant we visited three times. The food was very good; we tried both fish and meat. There was a high chair for the toddler and they were happy to accommodate a baby portion. No changing table, though this seems to be the standard in the area. Will happily return.
