Great fish stew and rice

Went with extended family for an evening meal whilst staying in Zambujeira, the service and food was excellent and by far the best we had in Zambujeira. The monk fish rice and fish stew was amazing! Highly recommended!

10 of us - 6 adults and 4 kids. the adults shared a caldeirada (fish stew) and arroz de tamboril e gambas (monkfish and prawn rice) and both were *really* amazing. hoping we can squeeze in another visit before we leave the alentejo!

I drove 2 hours to eat at this restaurant that was so highly reommended by a portugese lady. Well what a disappointment. I started wih octopus salad which was fine, the wine good, However, the dorade arrived on a platter with 2 potatoes and a salad in a soup of oil. The salad was hot due to the olive oil soup....... What a great lunch (and dinner!) we had. After lunch we decided to come back for dinner. Easy atmosphere and great, just great, fish dishes. We loved the ' dourada'. When we are back in the Alentejo we definitely have lunch and/or dinner at Sacas. By the way, their fig-cake for desert is a must!

Despite it being out of season and having a restricted menu the grilled sea bream was cooked to perfection and extremely tastey. The red house wine was extremely good and very reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and attentative. This is a very nice restaurant and very reasonably priced. We would certainly eat here again.

Excellent food. Try Feijoada de Búzios. The Linguado frito is excellent. Desserts are very good. This is a must try restaurant. The waiters could be nicer and wear a smile...This is why I don't give 5 stars.

I think I had been to O sacas for their famous feijoada de buzios when I was a teenager so it was nice to come back and enjoy some very fresh, well prepared traditional food. We went for an all fish meal, the fritada de peixe com migas and the lulas fritas. We shared mussels as a starter (it is... More

We ordered fresh grilled fish and it's as fresh as I speak. I totally loved it. The whole experience with Portugal, local food, freshly caught fish, local wine, sun and smell of the sea. It was very relaxing. I was taken there by my friend who is Portuguese a I was just enjoying it. Definitely worth it.

Excellent traditional fish disher with an informal atmosphere at the beach seaside.Service is ok but could be better, prices are bit high for the type of restaurant.
