A must visit

A lovely view. The service is sometimes slow but besides that you get fantastic products, cooked "au point" for cheap prices. Try grilled or fried fish dishes, perceves, ameijoa, the bean stews

Food is at its freshest, directly from the fishermen down the harbour, you may even see them bringing it into the restaurant. The setting is great, a perfect place to see the sunset in the evenings. The food is great and it is generally very busy so advisable to book.

We are there fresh fish and other sea food. All was very fresh and good prepared. The place is very local , to get there you must cross through road with fisherman's very poor houses. All looks rural, except the price , which was quite high. For one main dish, one starter and two glasses of white wine we paid almost 50... More

We read about this place in previous visits but did not find it as on the outskirts of the village, however we are staying nearby and spotted it so tried it tonight. We sat inside as a bit chilly and I found the stools and high tables a bit uncomfortable to sit at tho there. Were benches with backs outside.we had the... More

End of the day spot for a local seafood meal, leave room for sweets. Not open everyday, but if closed the nearby O Barco will be and is also an excellent option.

Went with extended family for an evening meal whilst staying in Zambujeira, the service and food was excellent and by far the best we had in Zambujeira. The monk fish rice and fish stew was amazing! Highly recommended!

I drove 2 hours to eat at this restaurant that was so highly reommended by a portugese lady. Well what a disappointment. I started wih octopus salad which was fine, the wine good, However, the dorade arrived on a platter with 2 potatoes and a salad in a soup of oil. The salad was hot due to the olive oil soup....... What a great lunch (and dinner!) we had. After lunch we decided to come back for dinner. Easy atmosphere and great, just great, fish dishes. We loved the ' dourada'. When we are back in the Alentejo we definitely have lunch and/or dinner at Sacas. By the way, their fig-cake for desert is a must!
