The entire family ate a wonderful Filipino meal for less than what is would cost a couple to eat in the Hawaii, most of the urban US or Japan.

Chicken was good although it is only 1/4 chicken in the combo. Check your bill. Insure your bill and change is correct.

Love the waiters - polite! Food served was good portion and delicious! The dessert though was a bit sweet for me. Good value for money for their set meals.

I love a lot of food here as it is very Filipino.Service is fast. Their kare-kre is just awesome, daing na bngus has the right blend of sourness, not too salty. I love the sinigang na belly ng bangus, salmon and hipon. Fantastic too is their crispy pata, vegetables menus but something I don't really miss is their canton, just... More

every time I come home for a vacation in Manila, I almost always end up eating at Max's although I try my best to order something other than the chicken, one cant help but taste it again just to make sure. The price is quite steep here but the food is almost always good so no complaints aside from being... More

Despite the proliferation of fast food joints with fried chicken offering, Max chicken is a popular choice even among the younger generation. In keeping with the times, Max has come up with combo meals of chicken and salad/side dishes. These meals are more expensive than those offered by the fast food joints but people don't mind footing the extra cost... More

As a child I remember dining at Max with my family. Today, as tradition, my family still eat at Max. The service is good, the staff excellent and very friendly, the place clean and the ambience is busy and happy. Still the same taste. Excellent Crispy Pata and eat all you can chicken promos. Max Tagaytay is the best. They... More

If you are looking for fresh cooked dishes, less oily, less salty and less sweet, I would recommend a trip down to Max Restaurant. For those who knows Philippines well, it is immerse with fast food culture. With dishes pre-cooked and over excess of flavours (of either too salty or too sweet), looking for good food can reach a dire... More

Max's fried chicken was once the best chicken in baclaran during the late 80's and 90's... now, it became just one of the guys.... service deteriorated to mere average/below average... waiters' ignoring request for water, tissues.... its not customer oriented anymore, its like fast food eat and go, the class atmosphere is gone... sad
