Delicious fish meal and excellent service. The restaurant is not fancy with high prices, it does not have a view but has an old charm atmosphere. I would certainly recommend this for a casual meal.

Fast efficient friendly service, so not ideal if you want a leisurely meal. A sushi conveyor bar is at the centre and not one person had sushi. A lot of waste and bored staff. Calamari starter was fine and so was the king clip, but not the best had in SA .

From the outside, this restaurant looks like an old, whitewashed building with atmosphere, but the actual restaurant lies behind that facade in a modernist structure of no character. Yet, the food (kingclip for all three of us) was excellent, as was the service.

The kingklip and chips are to die for but you need to have lots of patience as service is not the quickest in the world. The wait is really worth it and the crowds bring a buzz to the place.

This was just a terrible experience from start to finish and it is difficult to know where to start. After visiting Cape Town Fish Market, Big Bay last week to purchase to fresh fish from their fish monger counter, we thought it would be really nice to return for sushi in the restaurant. Firstly we placed our order with the... More

The waiter was friendly, the drinks and starters arrived timely and were quite nice. We waited around 1.5 hours for mains which were flavourless and cold, would not go back.

at first,we were a bit sceptic about the place,we thought we'd try it and we loved it! the seafood plancha as a starter was our preference but then everything we had was fresh and of a good quality...ask for fortune(one of the waiters),he gave us very good advices on wine and food and always has the smile!!!!

I encountered the SA habit of plastering the sushi with mayonnaise and didn't like it, but the fish and seafood were ace.

I stopped here with some colleagues at a slow time, and the service was fine then (contrary to some others' experience when it's busy). The staff were friendly and helpful. Most of us got the catch of the day, which was of good quality and nicely cooked, but they had a fairly extensive menu. Prices are by American standards very... More
