Lekker Braai

We went for the show and the experience and did not want to miss the real South African BBQ experience. And right we were: the food is prepared authentically and very tastz: the mili (white polenta) with herbs, the chakalaka, the meets, all delicious. As a dessert the excellent show by mostly local... read more

We have been regulars at Amazink for 4 years now, and this year the show is better than ever!! The whole audience is singing, dancing and cheering along the fantastic crew of super talented Kayamandi youth. People come from all over the Western Cape and fight about the tables! And the food - from being mediocre previous years it is... More

Our team went to AmaZink for our year end function. I was not looking forward to the food, as I often find these sort of place have bad food. Not in this case. The meat was very nicely marinated, and grilled to perfection. The service was quick and the entertainment wonderful. Really worth the trip and I hope to return... More

We loved this place. I am South African and my wife Swiss, so both have different persepectives, we both loved it. This is a great opportunity to get up a close to some true South African entertainment. They were warm and welcoming and do a really good job of welcoming you as part of the gang. What makes this wonderful... More

What an amazing experience for our international GD and CompAir delegates from 23 countries - most of whom had never been to South Africa before. This was a cultural experience which will never be forgotten. Fantastic singing voices and awesome dance and theatre - and a bit of drumming thrown in too at the start. And the South African food... Having a live performance while having dinner was one of the most interesting experiences I ever had. They have very talented singers there! The restaurant is located in a township, but it is safe and the facilities have a colorful design. AmaZink allows you not just to taste South African food but also its culture. If you are visiting Cape... More

AMA Zink Live is not just an eatery, it's not just a show, it is a total never to be forgotten experience. The show starts at 8.00pm, but get there an hour before. Car parking is in a safe guarded area right outside. On entering the premises we given the most cordial welcome possible by the staff, who turned out... More

It tells the tale of the people's struggle and their triumph. It was touching and inspiring. The singers are truly talented and deserve to be appreciated. You pay an entrance fee, 200R/person. Then inside you can purchase coupon books to buy food and drinks. I highly recommend this show. Book ahead! Note: if you have complicated food allergies like me,... More
