We had a fantastic 4 course lunch with a wine pairing. But first we enjoyed the welcome sparkling sauvignon blanc, which was very good and a nice start of the lunch. The menu is exquisite and so is the wine. Together with the views and great service, this has been a wonderful experience and I will definetely be coming back... More

The tasting menu at Clos Malverne is excellent, both in quality and price. The dining room with it's beautiful view is lovely and well serviced. We were so impressed on our first visit last year we had to return. This is a very, very good choice for lunch in the Stellenbosch area.

4 of us had booked for the tasting menu ( ie different wine with each course). Food was excellent and wines great. Service 1st class and setting wonderful. Table on outside ( but under awning) is best for a relaxing meal so you get the perfect view and a slight breeze. Wonderful and not to be missed

You really can't go wrong for four courses with wine at £20! It's not fine dining, but it is good food (pork belly starter and chocolate brownie dessert are fab!). The views are beautiful but book in advance and specify a table with a view as we didn't get one on the day, even though we had booked in advance.... More

A £36.52 four-course meal with wine and an excellent table has to be a bargain and the menu pointed this out - and indeed it was. But...we had not booked in order to get the best value lunch ever - what we wanted was an excellent dining experience delivered with second-to-none service. The menu pointed out what good value the... More

We ate here in early March 2014, unfortunately the restaurant was really busy. Food was excellent but the noise level was high and due to the wind outside everyone was inside. I would definitely go again but hope got be able to get away from the crowds.

One thing is certain – nothing I know compares with Clos Malverne for quality and value. We have lunched here several times and had dinner three times. The evening food is much the same, but the wines are even better. I have reviewed CM before, and nothing has changed this year. Once a month, in summer, you can experience what... More

We made a late reservation on Sunday 16 March for lunch. We sat in a secluded outside spot. Although the restaurant was very full the food was really amasing! Amy and Carli's service made this outing even more of a pleasure! We will recommend this restaurant any time and they will soon see us again!
