Wow, Wow, and WOW!

What an amazing lunch - probably the best food I experienced in South Africa. Attention to detail was a big focus with stellar presentation.

In the middle of pristine nature a remarquable restaurant for fine eating. Tables are beautifully waiting, not too close to one another . The welcome is fast an efficient and the dedicated staff can't do enough to please you. The menu consists of 6/7 starters, 6/7 mains, a few deserts and chosing is so difficult ! In the absence of... Fantastic setting and stunning wines. Food very rich and perfect for foodies. Not simple, wholesome food but rather an eating experience, stimulating most of the senses.

All I can say is wow, what a great restaurant! It's a lovely setting and the food was fabulous. The honey poppy seed soufflé was absolutely sublime. Another important point is that the menu is actually quite well priced for this type of restaurant. I will go back again and again...

We were greeted with a tasty variety of bread/dip/pork crackle items which was a delicious way to start the meal. The Kudu was DELICIOUS as was the Souffle. Suggest if you are dining here, you settle in for the long lunch as the service was rather delayed. With beautiful wine though, this may suit you just fine!

Even on a rainy autumn/winter day, lunch at the Jordan Restaurant was a superb experience from top to bottom.

My wife and I ate lunch at Jordan's yesterday and the food was excellent. The service was good and attentive but not over the top. The views over the valley towards Stellenbosch were quite spectacular. The inside of the restaurant was warm in temperature but cold in ambiance. In my opinion this was the only let down

I'd previously eaten at the bakery for lunch, and not remembered it as remarkable. It was good, but so are so many places in the area. That experience was on a private wine tour with my wife, and we were in all fairness trying to get a lot of wineries in, so our guide was managing our schedule. This time... More

Definitely a highlight of my year. The setting was really beautiful - I only wish we could have spent time sitting on the lawns post our lunch to soak in the atmosphere. Our meal was top notch. The balance of wholesomely delicious and incredibly creative was spot on. I appreciated the friendly, professional and knowledgeable service. You have to try... More
