Great lunch!

Went for lunch, booked well in advance which was lucky. Very nice restaurant, food and service super as well for our 8 year old daughter. A bit off the beaten track but well worth the trip!

I apologize if these restaurants are not connected, but I assumed they are on the same estate that they are linked. My Fiance and I went to The Bakery @ Jordan for her birthday as we wanted to see if we could be on time for breakfast, we missed it however by 30 mins which was fine so we decided... More

In the vicinity of the friendly university city cum wine center Stellenbosch you will find a hidden treasure: the restaurant and bakery Jordan. The scenery is both spectacular and romantic and the very inventive menu offers delicate and very tasty food. Add to this that the service is excellent and with a big smile and you are in for a... This was a return trip for us & did not disappoint. In fact it was almost better because a couple of years ago it was a six course pairing dinner which was too much (well, the wines were). It's now four courses but with amuses bouches & lovely bread & dips it makes a memorable evening. The views are stunning... More

We visited this restaurant with friends in April 2014 on recommendation. Unfortunately we found it a bit disappointing. We ate from the dinner menu which is somewhat limited for my 'fussy eater' husband who struggled to find anything to his tastes. My meal was less than memorable apart from the starter which was so salty I couldn't actually eat it!... More

3 course lunch, a feast for the eye and mouth. Georgeous food, well balanced flavours and beautifully plated, accompanied by excellent wine from the estate and supertasty bread from their own bakery. Service was very attentive. A place I will return next time I'm in Capetown!

We enjoyed our lunch. We had a nice table with a lovely view. The bread that we had at the start of the meal was delicious with a nice butter and some type of fish chutney accompaniments. My husband enjoyed his starter of mussels and the mains were lovely. The dessert was the highlight of the meal and the best... More

in our several week stay in the area this is one of our finest meals, wonderful starters( Elf - fish, mussels in Papillote ) and then our mains, springbok was divine as was the gnocchi, albeit prevented my wife making the cheese room :( ! The soufflé was nearly perfect had they not followed the trend of pouring source and... More

As a seasoned Capetonian looking for somewhere to go with overseas visitors this blew even my socks off. Stunning views to the mountains over the farm dam. Then great friendly staff and excellent service. This all backed up by brilliant food from George Jardine. You also do not have to look farther than the Jordan wines for classy wines all... More

We love the sunset, you have top arrive before 19h30 to enjoy the amazing view. The restaurant is a modern, stylish one. Very good entrance, kitchen work is a real show. Then came the main, much too heavy : 3 large pieces of fish, 1 would have been enough. A real pity, as the best restaurants should offer balanced meals.... More
