Awesome lunch spot to chill in the Cape Winelands

Went for lunch on a Monday which is not always the best day to visit any resteraunt. Good menu range and good food. A couple of items were not available which to me indicates they source fresh food in smaller quantities rather than bulk frozen foods. Service was very goods, wines excellent... read more

5 of us met up for lunch on a Wednesday in March, the seafood special was on, basically more seafood than you can eat at half price, no debate we ordered two of them, two of us had a 12 hour flight to catch that evening so we tried to invoke quantity control, waste of time, the food was delicious... My family enjoyed a great lunch at Bodega. Have been there several times, but the food and service is still outstanding. Our waiter smiled from the moment we arrived. Our 4 year old son enjoyed the playground while we enjoyed our delicious lunch.

We visited your restaurant alot because it is kiddie friendly and the food is great. After today, and how your staff handled a situation and treated us we will never visit your restaurant again. It is not kiddie friendly and the manner in which you handle your customers is shocking!

After returning for the 2. time (first time was excellent) we were very disappointed about service - received after more than 1 hour the first course - which was also not standard according to price and description. Service was as well not up to standard, slow and not to be seen at the table.

Hadn't been here for some time & always enjoyed the ambience & food. Very disappointed on our recent visit. The ambience seated outside on the veranda is the same & the service pleasant & attentive, The food, however, was disappointing to say the least. Our starters of flammkutchen & cheese with figs were fine but not the mains. My wife... More

What a wonderful place for a wine tasting and a relaxing lunch. 18 people for lunch and everything that came out tasted wonderful and was in plentiful supply. The surroundings only added to the day, a winery and restaurant not to be missed.

What a lovely, easy-going, child-friendly restaurant in an amazingly beautiful setting! We were two families who went for a sunday lunch at Dornier in Jan 2015 with 8 children between us. We had a very relaxing time and delicious food. I felt, however that the food was highly overpriced and that is the only negative that I can say about... More

Although it does take a while to receive the food, the tapas we had at Bodega were fantastic! Really enjoyed them and will definitely go back there! The view that Dornier offers is amazing and the wine is yummy. Love this wine estate!
