This restaurant was a great disappointment. They didn't have several items on the menu and the service was inept and very slow.
While staying at the WigWam resort in Phoenix (Litchfield Park) we had lunch at TAPS. The beer was cold and the food was hot. The server was very friendly and attentive. We'd go back if we were in the area.
WORSE SERVICE EVER!!!! waitress told us to have a seat, and never once came to wait on us. we had to go to bar to get our own drinks as she just kept walking by us. never even once looked our way. told the manager and he just laughed. sent them a message on their website and they ignored me.... The food is very over priced, and very average. With so many wonderful restaurants in the area, please don't waste your time or money going here. Carna asana was chewy and a poor cut of meet, chicken sandwich tasteless and dry. Go to Arribas for Mexican and Wildflower bakery instead. Had a groupon for $30 lunch for $15, still not... More
We were at the Wigwam across the street for 4 nights and went here twice. They have a chocolate chip cookie with strawberries, pecans and ice-cream that's a heart-attack waiting to happen! Highly recommended!
We are local residents who try and support all our local restaurants. We have supported Taps for years and have seen slow decline over the past 12 months. The service is horrendous now. It seems to all go down hill after they opened the new location. Looks as though they did a better job when they only had one location... More
We sat outside on the patio & enjoyed trying their own beers. We were there for Happy Hour so it was very reasonable! Also had a nice glass of wine from OR. Live music started while we were there & you could easily hear it on the patio.
If your looking for a house beer for 99 cents during happy hour this is your place. However if you want food forget it. I went in for take out sandwich. I placed the only food order at the time. It took 35 minutes to get it out of the kitchen. Then when finally came it was bad. I had... More
We are not heavy dinner eaters, and this small joint, just off the Wigwam grounds on the west side, is perfect for a light meal and well-served libations. White wine wasn't overly chilled (if more places got that concept they would sell more wine!!) and the food, based upon visits last year and this, is marvelous.
This place will never ever get anymore of our diningmoney when visiting the area. The service was pathetic, over priced, the onsite manager was the rudest jerk I have ever had to deal with especially when the waitress quoted our wine as part of the happy hour and then charging fullpricing. When we asked about it the manager did not... More
