Nederburg presents the restaurant, The Red Table, situated in its iconic manor house, a national monument. It has been passionately created in collaboration with well-known Cape Town foodie, Andrea Foulkes, and offers locally-sourced, fresh food in a comfortable and historic atmosphere. The accent is on tasty, simple but superb eating with flavours to match the award-winning range of Nederburg wines. Signature favourites include the duo of lamb, venison burger, fillet steak and pork belly. During the summer months, the restaurant spills out onto the terrace and sprawling gardens against the backdrop of vineyards and the towering Drakenstein mountains. In the fragrant and lush gardens surrounding the manor house, you'll find leisurely spots in the cool shade of the age-old trees you can enjoy fare created to complement Nederburg's delicious wines. With fireplaces ablaze during the winter months, the plush and comfortable interior of the manor house is the perfect setting for leisurely meals shared with family and friends when chilly outside.

Overalll brilliant experience. Met the kitchen staff and saw how neat and precise everything is.

Thanks to Edmore, the chef and his wonderful team. The food was excellently prepared. The angel fish was succulent in the softest crisp batter(yes I know it's an oxymoron, but true). The dessert was heavenly...geez...brilliantly done. Thanks to all at the Red Table.

Lovely food, excellent service (attentive but not intrusive), postcard settling. Special thanks to Roy and Ramsay for looking after us and compliments to the chef.

Great for a luncheon with friends, fine wine and great food. The Chef is always willing to chat and share his creations. Still want to enjoy the winter setting in the Manor building, but the gardens is a big delight.

On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and a glass of Neederburg Grand Cru bubbly to wet our appetites. Seated under the many aged oak trees with beautiful views if the garden and surrounding Paarl mountains. It was a set 3 course menu with wine pairing from the estate. Each course was delicious and the wine very well paired... More

This was my third trip to the estate's restaurant and it did not disappoint. Hosting a Mother's Day event, we enjoyed a delicious three course meal of deep fried camembert, followed by biltong encrusted fillet and frosted Nederburg Noble Late Harvest, served with white chocolate and caramel fondant prepared by chef Edmore Ruzoza. Fabulous as always!

We visited the restaurant for lunch on Saturday. The food was amazing. We played musical plates and could not decide who chose best. We had some of the new harvest wine, which was gorgeous! It was such a pleasure. Service was friendly and attentive. We were there with a little one and she loved playing on the lawn, which is... More

Nederburg Wine Estate is both historic and has a high profile. We had however never been to their restaurant, which we had read about on its opening but not much feedback since then. It is not a fine dining venue, and fairly quiet when we were there, but a very welcoming, friendly manager (who took our booking on the phone),... More

I had yellow tail as a main dish. This is the first time I have had such a succulent and moist piece of yellow tail. I could not help wondering if it had been steamed first. However, the skin was beautifully crisp. It was served with a cauliflower purée and lightly steamed vegetables that complemented the dish very well. The... More
