My favourite cafe in Oudtshoorn. They serve very good coffee and the food is amazing-using fresh, organic produce. Relaxed atmosphere and beautiful service. The Hang-over salad is a must for breakfast: salmon, goats cheese and a poached egg on top of fresh leafy greens, served with home-made bread. The cakes and pasteries are winners aswell. Well worth the stop, if... More

Part of the Queens Hotel and a great place to have a coffee and cake or pastries. Really nice place.

Relaxed setting, although by the side of the road, I sat down here to have some late breakfast. I was surprised by the enormous scone and after that overwhelmed by the taste. One of the very best I've had. And I have had some scones...

The family's favorite lunchtime hotspot for exquisite local light lunches. Sunday lunch also attractive as you only pay per kg. The coffee, apple crumble, cakes and apple cinnamon muffins are all worth stopping for if you are traveling through town.

Good coffee and light meals plus cakes, biscuits, muffins and risks. Good friendly service. Set in the historic colonial Queens Hotel. Good spot to pick up some padkos for the road.

Stopped for coffee and apple crumble. This is an old colonial hotel building, when Outshoorn was the centre for more millionaires making money in the 1890's from feathers. The setting and the food was just divine! Overlooks the main road, traditionally wide enough to turn your horse and carriage on.

The Queens hotel is the first hotel you come to when pulling into Oudtshoorn town centre, it has a small coffe shop type resturant on the street under a large veranda, this is definately our coffee and bran muffin stop, sometimes twice a day, the coffe is beautifully made and the food is served brilliantly, breakfast and lunch are also... Cafe Brule occupies part of the terrace of the Queens Hotel in Baron van Rheede Street, Oudtshoorn. It is at the heart of this Klein Karoo capital, next to the stone clad CP Nel Museum. Breakfasts and lunches are beautifully presented and the coffee is really good! Wednesday to Fridays 'harvest table' lunches are on offer where one dishes buffet-style... More

Excellent place for coffee. Sit on the terrace and watch Oudtshoorn go by! Great service - the cakes looked really good, but we managed to just stick to the Iced Coffee which was excellent.
