Booked after reading reviews on TA, warm friendly welcome and good service throughout, whole meal was excellent as was the wine by the glass especially the Pinotage. A really enjoyable evening and great value for a quality meal. More

This was reccomened by Hew and Zoe at 88 baron Von Reede. We had an excellent meal with great service. We were offered a selection of table and opted for the table in conservatory. Hugh at Baroon van Reede Guesthouse recommended this place for dinner. It is a bit more pricy in a stylish setting. I had the ostrich and it was divine. They really went out of their way for my boyfriend who had a bit of an upset tummy that day - they prepared a special soup. Don't miss this place More

Some of the best experiences one can have are those that are unexpected. Kalinka falls into that category for me. “Fine dining at it's best”

We were recommended to Kalinka by Venita at La Pension Guest Lodge, and it really was a very special meal. Staff very attentive and knowledgable and represented great value for money. Will definate be back to sample some of the other dishes on the menu. More

Definitely the best restaurant in Oudtshoorn and on our trip in SA so far! The service is great, the wine an food was perfect. Try the ostrich fillet, they know how to prepare and serve it! More

I ate here twice during my visit in March 2011. I was referred to' by Next Door B&B and i must thank them because i had here the best meals of my holyday.
