Dining - at lunch with children can be daunting. The adjacent play park sorted the kids while we enjoyed the fine meal, tasty and great wine, as usual. Friendly service topped it off. More

We were driving up to Cape Town from Cape of Good Hope and this restauant had been recommended by friends of friends. While it was a little pricier than we were used to, the food and service were excellent. Two menus Bistro and A La Carte but you could mix them. A very pleasant experience More

We had lunch at the deli during our visit to Cape Town. My sister-in-law recommended it and boy am I glad she did. I love this place.I had the best quiche I've ever tasted and the pastries were incredibly fresh. It was very laid back with a really nice vibe. The value can not be beat. If I lived anywhere... More

We had dinner tonight and it was our best meal in South Africa since we arrived more than two weeks ago. And be sure, we did not go to the fish and chips places. Anybody saying that the food here is not good, does not know what he or she is talking about, or is possibly just visiting fish and... More

We ate there twice. I do not like to be judgmental, but giving them an opportunity to prove me wrong on my initial opinion, I can, without remorse, say that their food quality is really poor. I so wanted it to be good, as there is nice and spacious children playground and my daughter enjoyed playing there, that the second... More

Booking, reception and pre-dinner drinks smoothly and friendly organised. Three dinner menu sets clearly presented by the excellent (Zimbawean) waiter. We chose the most comprehensive five course (plus amuse guele and vodka sorbet) and a wine menu with all wines from the same small vineyard - Nitida in Durbanville. Price for menu plus wines R475 - fantastic prive/value ratio. The... More

The foodbarn has a great variety of food to choose from. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, sitting outside on a nice summer evening. The service was great and our waitron really gave us a good idea of the choices available on the menu..Food was very tasty and of excellent quality...good value for money...Will definitely be back to try some more... We had lunch at the Foodbarn Deli whilst we stayed in Noordhoek for 2 nights and we LOVED it. The atmosphere, the food, the wine - absolutely stunning. We spent a very lazy Sunday afternoon people watching and tasting the wonderful food. All the baked goods and home made products looked fresh and amazing; we will be back soon! More
