We have visited Cruise Cafe every time we've been through Knysna with a variety of guests, friends and family. The food is Excellent, the staff are attentive and intuitive which is refreshing!
We've managed to get a table even when the rest of Knysna is busy and to be honest I'm not sure why we eat anywhere else whilst in...

We enjoyed our visit to this popular spot. On arriving we were shown a table in the corned of the restaurant but convinced the waiter to seat us outside so we could appreciate the views and weather (it had recently rained, so they were wary of the choice). We had a lovely meal, with wines and were the last to...

My wife and I - and our dog - love sitting outside on the deck at sun-down to enjoy a bottle of wine (not too expensive here) and maybe a platter. The burgers are the best that I have eaten anywhere. Had a meal their with family on Mothers' Day but the kitchen and service couldn't cope. Better to stay...

Kudos to the whole Featherbed team for creating a superb venue offering excellent cuisine, service and value. Our table of 4 sampled an array of dishes including rib-eye steak, market fish and braised pork neck - all delicious and well presented. Cruise Cafe offers a relaxed ambience with a touch of sophistication and is perfectly situated at the lagoonside. A...

We are new to Knysna and went to the Cruise Cafe on the waterfront yesterday evening for sundowners and a light meal. Knysna is famed for its Mitchells Brewery and the malty product of the hop ... However, we were told that the Cruise Cafe doesn't serve Mitchells because of its 'five star' status. What? A smart restaurant doesn't serve...

My husband and I happened upon this God send of a restaurant, quite by accident, on our three night stay in Knysna, and boy were we glad we did!
Both of us are avid foodies and deplore spending money on mediocre food, but driving into Knysna, late in the evening on an idle Tuesday while it was bucketing it down...

Nice place, good menu and good pay area for kids - beware though, the decking area is not fenced in so your little ones can't be let out of your sight for a moment! The burgers are great and the kids menu fish fingers are outstanding. Reasonable wine list.

We went to Cruise Cafe on a Friday night when the restaurant was full, and as it is the middle of winter, (and there are very few tourists around in Knysna), it is obvious that Knysna locals were out enjoying one of their favourite restaurants. The food is very reasonably priced and the service was excellent. There were lots of...

Having visited the resturant in 2009 and 2010 the change this year was remarkable. in 2009 I was with two quests and the waiter created a fuss because as the service was not good he did not get 10% tip. He expected 10%.
This year the service was excellent. Starters of mussels ( Wife Hazel ) Oysters brillant. The Mains...
