It is a very small place so you better make a reservation when you visit. The food is very good and original. The menu is tapas style but the food is a mixture of African and Asian, a good combination.

Was expecting great - got some great, some okay and some not okay. The latter was the wine and the prices. Wines dull and don't serve day old by the glass. Service great! A few dishes really lovely flavour combinations. But some a tad boring and very over priced.

Packed together and the food was certainly not worth the cost. Wine they recommended was disappointing and we like our wine. Noisy and not memorable

This place was was recommended by a couple who we got talking to in a bar the night before, they could not sing it's praises any more, so we went along. It looks are deceiving, when you go in the little outside area is lit up with lights and the inside dining area is like sitting in the owners front... More

Came here with a group of friends, beautiful food especially the bobotie. Yes, it is a little more expensive than some other places but well worth it. Service good, met the owner at the end of our meal, impressive knowledgeable lady

This was a funny experience because I do not eat spicy food and the food at Firefly is ONLY spicy. So... my husband enjoyed the food immensely and I was looked after and we found 3 things I could eat. The owner and staff were lovely and I think they thought I was a bit mad to go there with... More

We were recommended this restaurant by friends and quite frankly if they hadn't we probably wouldn't have gone in. The place is very quirky and quaint but the tapas style menu is superb. Everything is made and cooked on the premises, down to even growing their own herbs. Well worth a visit!

The menu is tapas style and each dish is very small but the price is not. This might be forgiven if the food was excellent but it was only average to poor. My chicken curry was presented as a special but it was a small quantity of chicken just covering a lot of rice. I had asked if it was... More

We visited after almost 3 year absence. The menu has changed to tapas style menu which does not suit everyone but the food was still tasty and unusual. We had a gin tasting which I have never done but enjoyed to taste the different flavours of gin. I can recommend the ostrich samosas. Remember this is a cash only establishment... More

Plain and simply put the food was awsome! Great quality, looked spectacular and tasted even better. Had three tapas, the chicken curry was potent but fantastic. I will visit there again before my holiday ends.
