When we called to confirm our booking we had made 3 weeks ago, we were told that they didn't think we were going to actually arrive so they didn't keep us a table but will manage to squeeze us in (they had a few open tables when we arrived so weren't even busy) When the food cane it was as... More

To call this a curry venue is to miss the concept entirely. It is a spice adventure. Intimate (read as tiny) and detailed. From the offerings to the gin list it is a knysna must do for the epicurious.

Liked most of what we ordered. Plates are good to share. Would have liked a bit more pacing between plates. Request this when you order if you don't want everything delivered at once.

This was my second visit to this restaurant. A few years ago I had the pleasure of eating there and with great anticipation I went there again last night with friends. It was seriously a great place. The waitress was good and the food even better. We had a variety of tapas and some of their gluwein, everything was well... More

It is a very small place so you better make a reservation when you visit. The food is very good and original. The menu is tapas style but the food is a mixture of African and Asian, a good combination.

Was expecting great - got some great, some okay and some not okay. The latter was the wine and the prices. Wines dull and don't serve day old by the glass. Service great! A few dishes really lovely flavour combinations. But some a tad boring and very over priced.

Packed together and the food was certainly not worth the cost. Wine they recommended was disappointing and we like our wine. Noisy and not memorable

This place was was recommended by a couple who we got talking to in a bar the night before, they could not sing it's praises any more, so we went along. It looks are deceiving, when you go in the little outside area is lit up with lights and the inside dining area is like sitting in the owners front... More

Came here with a group of friends, beautiful food especially the bobotie. Yes, it is a little more expensive than some other places but well worth it. Service good, met the owner at the end of our meal, impressive knowledgeable lady

This was a funny experience because I do not eat spicy food and the food at Firefly is ONLY spicy. So... my husband enjoyed the food immensely and I was looked after and we found 3 things I could eat. The owner and staff were lovely and I think they thought I was a bit mad to go there with... More
