Worst experience of my life!! Worst service ever. At a stage we thought it was a comedy movie being filmed with hidden cams!! When some of the food came out some of it was actually OK!! People were complaining all over the place. After the waiter tried to impress with repeating our order for 4 mains 3 times, he forgot... More

Went for dinner on Sunday evening with a friend. We didnt have a reservation but we were given a table outside as we requested. The service from Ishmael was fantastic and he was attentive without being intrusive. We ordered a bottle of wine which was brought promptly but one of the wine glasses was dirty. However it was replaced very... More

We went to Pastis over December for a quick lunch. Got seated in the smoking section outside whilst we had a minor with us. There was no one in the are when we got seated so I didn't notice it but when other patrons started puffing we got up to leave as the waiter said there were no other tables.... More

Had supper last night at Pastis, despite the bad reviews our supper was very pleasant. Three of the group chose their burgers, well presented and tasty. The 4th chose the deboned chicken very nice. Atmosphere, quite but it was early and just after the Christmas period. Waitress was attentive, Maitre dee, asked how everything was but was walking away as... More

Such a sweet place, tucked away with very good service and tasty meals. Very pleasant for family or after a cycle. A little cramped outside but there is more space inside.

I have been going to Pastis for many years - and let us be honest it has never been a French inspired restaurant/cafe- it has been lost in space with lack of direction-investment and direction. Now - apparently- it has a new head chef and maybe owners- not sure on the latter- but - has it made any difference. To... More

We decided to go to Pastis for dinner because of the impressive sounding menu and the good location. The waiters and other staff who assisted us were very friendly and helpful. It was a beautiful evening and the outdoor seating made for a very pleasant setting for our meal. However the food did not live up to our expectations nor... More

We ate at Pastis on new years day and had the worst meal I have ever had. We ate at Pastis 2 years ago and had a very unpleasant experience then but decided to give the restaurant another chance - bad mistake. It has was even worse!! I had the fish - "catch of the day' which suggests it should... More

The location is good, the website and menu suggest a quality experience, but the reality was ordinary at best when we visited for dinner. We chose two of the recommended main dishes, neither of which tasted freshly prepared. The salt and pepper calamari starters seemed to be ordinary crumbed calamari strips with pepper added. The waiters were pleasant enough, but... More

We are French, and the food is below average with poor service. This isn't proper French cuisine per say, but apart from trying to approach French specialties, the food itself is tasteless and uninteresting. Don't waste your time there, far more better restaurants in the area!

Dear Anais We were hoping to get some feedback from you via the email sent to you previously: "Could you please contact me with specific feedback on the food. We want to improve but, your statements are too broad and generalized to know where to focus. Yours sincerely, Dion" More
