A very relaxing spot for lunch although the service wasn't very good. As a customer you felt like you were rather an incovinience to the staff. The food was delicious though.

After thoroughly enjoying a late lunch from an extensive menu, we managed to taste many of the excellent wines and bubblies available. The beef fillet was superb as was the Tuna. Well prepared and tasty. A tour of the cellar, presented by the expert winemaker, JB Pretorius rounded things off well. Excellent and thank you all. Great service, fantastic location,... More

Went here after been to the Ginko Spa. We were a group of 7, and we had not booked in advance. We sat by the bar and it was really nice even though it was a little crowded. The food was excellent. A little more expensive than other similar restaurants. Would definitely come back!

Food great atmosphere great and the price is very great (high if this is not understood). The only thing that is not so great is the size of the portions. However the quality compensates for the price and size. Recommend the tapas and the Steenberg Merlot - ask for the older vintage bottles they are really good. If it is... More

The venue in the middle of the vineyards was beautiful. Loveley waterfeatures to calm the soul. The menu (breakfast until 12noon, lunch and desserts from 12noon) was very limited, and very expensive for the amount and quality of food offered. Yes, it tasted good, but the price left a sour taste. Service not great: had to ask 3x for lemon... More

As a belated birthday gift some of my favourite ladies spoilt me with a gourmet brunch at the lovely Bistro Sixteen82 in the Steenburg Vineyards. Most of us had their amazing pork-belly bacon eggs benedict – I mean words cannot describe the goodness! One of us also tried their salmon and eggs which was just as great! It also helps... More

Amazing building. The tapas were excellent. The service was good. Modern world cuisine. Pity it has to close early in the evening.

We have had several encounters with Bistro Sixteen82, and although our last encounter involved some confusion with our booking, we managed to sort it out, and enjoyed a delicious breakfast. The service by Gwen was very good, and the food quite delicious. The breakfast menu offerings appear to be standard faire, but very definitely not basic, with cute little touches... More

Amazing location. The outside tables are spectacular on a nice day. Service is fantastic, the food delicious and beautifully served and their wine was a highlight. As far as white wine goes, you can't beat "Rattlesnake" - it pairs beautifully with the food and is a pleasure to drink in the afternoon. If you're looking for a first class lunch... More
