Whenever we visit CT we head straight to this restaurant in order to set the high standard for all other fish and sushi restaurants we intend to frequent. Absolutely keeping up the standards set many years ago. Slick service and super fresh fish, just the best. The only downside is queuing 15-20mins for a table it's that popular. Highly recommended.

You may have to queue but it's worth the wait, we had sushi, not my favourite choice but it was delicious! Usual South African excellent service, lovely atmosphere and not expensive, what more can you want?

No view from here, it is in a Mall. But if you like sushi, fish, seafood then this is the place where the locals go. At lunchtime get there early, 12.30ish, and you may get an immediate table; after 1pm you will need to queue. You can also buy fish here. Cannot confirm if they are open in the evenings,... More

We eat here often. Never been disappointed by the food or the service. It seems a bit off putting when you first get there as you generally join a queue but the wait is worth it.

If you are not afraid to queue for some minutes let’s say some big minutes…than you can go either for lunch or dinner to that restaurant in Cap Town. Food is good, service very nice and just so crowded by so many people, it is amazing…unbelievable how many person that have to serve in one day. Come early if you... More

On a recent trip to Capetown the first restaurant we wanted to go was Willoughbys - and we went three times in 3 days! Great fish and sushi, very friendly slick service. I love the Rock Shrimp and Beef Tataki - it will be our first stop next time too!

The food is excellent! I have never had a bad meal and my sister and her fiancé went back twice for the paella... it was that good. Although I am not knowledge about Japanese cuisine the restaurant is extremely popular and seating is first come first served. Our waiter was brilliant excellent knowledge and keen to advise on the best... More

I went there twice in a week because the seafood was so good and fresh and the prices are average for Cape Town considering it's so famous and have people queuing up every lunch, it's good value. Oysters are large and fresh at 150R/ 6 pc + 10% tips. All other seafood I've tried were great. Pity it doesn't have... More

Many people had recommended that we should visit Willoughby &Co for the Sushi and Sashimi and we were not disappointed, however the location we found rather difficult and hence only four stars not five. Willoughby's is a Japanese themed fish restaurant in the middle of The Victoria Wharf shopping mall and the food is excellent , especially the Sushi ,... More
