Had a assortment of food everything was top class service, presentation, taste can't fault it other than it's inside the mall Bit expensive but quality shines

The reviews were right about the long queues, however as we were just two and didn't mind sitting at a bar table (which really is quite nice as you get to watch the lovely chefs at work or sit on a long high table inside the restaurant) we were shown our seats immediately. We decided to go with the basics... More

In a nutshell, too much rice and mayonnaise and not enough salmon or tuna. Very disappointing for the price you pay and the quality you expect. My husband and I use to love going there when we visited CT from London, but our latest visit was a disgraceful and we won't be going back. Sushi rice was warm and like... More

We have travelled the world and have always enjoyed sushi. Without doubt Willoughby's must supply the most delicious salmon and tuna available. The fish is fresh and tasty and some of the dishes available are plate licking good! Sam, the sushi master started about 14 years ago with a small little bar in the corner of the restaurant. There are... More

Very popular resturant with lots to chose from sushi is great with something new always available. Always a qui waiting for a table very popular not the greatest venue in the middle of the waterfront with no view but the food is great and worth a visit. A little pricey but worth it

The reason why Willoughby gets good reviews, 1. Good service: This staffs well trained and kind. 2. Good concept: Their Menu is so special that I want to get one to my home. It's lovely. And their Sushi bar also good. 3. Of all, Good food!: It's not original Japanese though, their Seafood is good!

Like many, upon hotel recommendation, went there expecting solid food and great service. We got neither. In SA it appears you can only get salmon or tuna sushi. Not many other choices. They try to br creative but end up with too many mayo sauces covering the taste. So food was very average. The service was deplorable. The waiter went... More

Friendly staff in this constantly packed restaurant in the Waterfront Shopping Centre. Clearly many regulars. Huge variety of excellent sushi but sufficient other choices if raw fish is not your thing. A bustling busy atmosphere with the choice of tables in the mall itself or at the bar and sushi kitchen area inside.

You will never find Willoughby's without a line of waiting customers! And for good reason - their sushi is good. But if you want a nice meal out, nice atmosphere and talking, this is not the place. You feel rushed, the food arrive at the table before you had two sips of your wine, it is also very pricey. SO... More
