We had an enjoyable dinner with 4 friends from America. All ordering something different from the varied Menu for Starters and Main Course and passing the plates around for all to taste. The Staff very friendly. But we did find the Service from the Kitchen on the slow side.

Savoy Cabbage's ambience is delightful. We sat upstairs and enjoyed having a "birdseye view" of the restaurant. The food was very good. My husband had a beef dish and I had the mushroom stroganoff AND the desserts were great. The staff was very friendly which added to make the evening a delightful experience.

Great find in central CT which was a fitting venue for our 40th wedding anniversary night out. Food was lovely with excellent waitress service, complimented by a great wine list with helpful advice from Frank. Excellent value for money for us UK visitors

Had a great evening at the Savoy Cabbage. The interior decor could be best described as "funky industrial" as it seems to be the inside of an old warehouse or factory. The location is close to Bo-Kaap in the older area of Cape Town city centre. The menu changes everyday and the food we had was generally excellent. The warthog,... More

Our dinner at Savoy Cabbage was delightful, delicious and so much fun. The warthog was superb. I cannot believe we ate it. You need to go and eat there and be adventurous. The server couldn't have been more helpful and it was a lovely dining experience. Thank you.

The menu is extensive and was filled with exotic African promises, which did not disappoint in our case. The wine and service was also excellent BUT by SA standards this is a larney restaurant (we felt a little out of place). If you want a classy joint with an African touch then this is definitely you. Otherwise .... a little... More

Following TripAdvisor reviews, we tried Savoy Cabbage. We had a table upstairs and so could watch food being prepared in the kitchen. The food was imaginative, well presented and tasty. Service was good, as were the wines. Recommended for a special occasion

Love the decor, main courses and desserts are great, good selection of wine, little pricey for every day eating.

I was highly recommended to this restaurant by many of my friends. It is situated in what used to be a warehouse off of Long Street. It is quite large downstairs but we were shown a table upstairs which looks down into the other part of the restaurant. The menu is constantly evolving and uses the freshest local produce. As...
