Enjoy creative contemporary cooking in a visually exciting venue. With its historic Table Mountain stone and old brick that dates back to the 18th century, architect Leon Saven's design is complemented by glass, concrete and exposed ducting. Cabbage motif chandeliers and salt dishes, fine table appointments and impeccable service reflect outstanding attention to detail. The menu alters daily, using the freshest local produce and combines unusual flavours to excite the palate of the discerning diner. A boutique wine list which is very reasonably priced.

Very enjoyable meal!

Last night we had a lovely dinner with fine service and good wine all at a reasonable price. I tried warthog (a first time event) and it was delicious. Appetizers and mains were all extremely good as was dessert.

What a great place. I was there with some pretty boisterous (but polite!) friends and the team handled us beautifully. They made us fell very much at home in the spectacular environment there. The decor and lighting are flawless. Oh and the food was wow. It was a dream menu for me. Brief. Unpretentious. Ambitious. Balanced. Fun. I had the... More

I enjoyed a lovely meal here last night at one of Cape Town's most established restaurants. The menu is very interesting and the service excellent. Ps it's open on Mondays too.

I was in Cape Town for two weeks, and this was my favorite restaurant. The staff was very friendly and provided fantastic recommendations for my meal and wine. When I received the bill, I was shocked at the wonderful value I just received. The quality of the food and service was incredible ... 5 stars all the way!

We went for a business meal in the evening. The restaurant is lovely with brick wall and glass staircases. Very enjoyable atmosphere. The food was well presented and perfectly cooked! I recommend the Zebra starter. Unique and excellent! Will come back. The staff was also very good.

Very, very enjoyable. Excellent food, tasty and beautifully presented. Well informed waiter and service. Interesting interior. The wine list might be more imaginative. Uber took us home!!!

My favorite cabbage, but my wife dislikes it - finds it uninteresting. I love it with chicken & gravy. I used to grow them o0n my allotment in Norwich when my kids were young.

This was our least satisfying meal in South Africa. We decided to go here when others at our nearby hotel recommended it. Granted, we did not have Sweetbreads that they enjoyed, but our party of five adults had four different dishes, from beef to chicken to fish, and none of us thought anything other than "OK." My wife's rubbery and... More

This is a modern setting utilizing a real old finish . Key is the service and quality of the waiters, really friendly , most knowledgable and make the dinner a special event. The food was equally enjoyable, with various options and a wide variety of venison choises , including warthog and blesbok . The wine menu , has a number... More
