Also on our second visit were it has taken us heir liked it very much. The food from the Different countries of the African continent were explained to all of us Faith in detail. The Pprtionen are not very large, but there are so many that we were more than satisfied. In between, the whole workforce comes from room to... More

A lovely warm welcome from all of the beautifully dressed staff in traditional costume. The huge set menu was described and explained very well to us. Lovely wine list and Thable was so informative and helpful and it was plain to see she and the rest of the staff had a genuine interest in both the delicious food they were... More

I was a little apprehensive to go to this place after reading some less than positive reviews. I'm so glad I went ahead anyway. It was my last night in Cape Town and I wanted an African experience and, boy, did I get one! I don't know what I ate in all but it was all delicious - and so... More

food just kept coming and was all good. Can just eat traditional way with your fingers. Staff were friendly & seemed to enjoy singing as much as the customers. It's a set menu & there was so much food that we couldn't finish it all ,as much as I tried. Cost was around £20 a head including cocktails ,water &... More

We were staying right next door to this restaurant and really wanted to experience some African food while in Cape Town. So glad we decided on this place. The atmosphere is wonderful and the wait staff are in brightly coloured African clothes. During the meal the staff put on a show of singing and drumming. Really added to the colourful... More

They say they use fresh fruit, but I have seen with my eyes that they use fruit in a can!!!and The alchol in it??? Where... More

. This was one of the very few disappointing meals we had in Cape Town. We enjoyed the singing, but it took 45 minutes to bring us the first course of this set menu described as a feast. If you do not want the “feast” then there is nothing else. The first and second course were lukewarm and the two... More

Yes, it is on 3 floors, yes, they sing loudly, and so what ? It was an amazing experience in family. Food was really tasty, with subtile flavours. Wine list is great, we had the Rubicon wine, delicious. Service was good, we spent a very nice evening in family. Book your table on the upper floor in the area with... More

While the service was good, the food was just ok. It's a very popular place to take tourists but the food seemed to lack distinct flavours, other than the soup which was excellent. The waitresses were beautifully dressed with interesting face makeup.
