We very much enjoyed our dinner at Pot Luck Club and found it to be very good value ( compared to the other highly recommended restaurants in Cape Town ) . This setting offers a beautiful view. The food was interesting and delicious . The portion sizes are large so be sure not to over order ! Great experience -... More

We spend a couple of months in Cape Town every year and eat out a lot while there, as the food is generally excellent and not expensive. This was our first visit to The Pot Luck Club and it was absolutely outstanding. Superb food, excellent service from friendly and well-informed staff, good wine and a relaxed atmosphere with an interesting... More

Eating at the Pot Luck Club feels very much like a social statement of rebellion against everything stereotypically associated with fine-dinning; it's in the heart of Woodstock the underbelly neighborhood of the Mother City;it's decor is urban-inspired, and minimalist, as is the menu with edgy flavors dominating the short list of options; the bar-man is unfazed, matter-of-fact and heavy handed... This restaurant has great food and an amazing view of Cape Town and Table Mountain. We visited with a party of six so we just decided to order everything on the menu (not including deserts). It ended up being a great dinner experience with great cocktails. I personally don't think it's expensive but that might be because I'm used to... More

Not the cheapest, but certainly very different. Tappas sized portions, that are so exotic I couldnt remember half the ingredients afterwards - only that I loved them! And the 360 deg view of Cape Town, the mountain and the harbour.... priceless!

We had good luck because we get a table without a reservation for dinner. The tapas were unusual, but very good. We chose the salty, umami and sour variation with a sweet ending. We got fried fish, mushrooms on toast, baby potatoes ... Great atmosphere, kind stuff with good informations about the food and very good food. Nice location to... More

We previously dined at the old Pot Luck but the new one on the sixth floor with sea and mountain views is a really outstanding venue. Excellent small portions and a good wine list, a bit pricey but we had an excellent house red. The small portions are taste delights and the service is very good. We had one problem... More

I'm never sure if I love a tapas meal. I often feel that if there's a dish I like I'd prefer it as a main course. We were four for dinner and it was wonderful. Service was great, we were well-advised on how many dishes to order and service was nicely paced. Each dish was delicious, we had great wine... More
