Great experience

We went to the pot luck club after a wine tasting in the area. We didn't have a booking and they were full and so accommodating! We sat at the bar having a drink and would have dinner at the bar if a table didn't come available. Just as our first lot of tapas arrived a table became available and... read more

One of the best meals of our lives. Sincerely, if you are coming to Cape Town and not coming to Pot Luck Club, you are missing out on the best dining experience ever. The food was totally awesome, even for vegetarians I must add. Ambience, service, drinks and food... All 7 star. Can't get over it. I would fly to... More

This restaurant is WAY over hyped, over priced, and not worth a repeat visit. I was completely underwhelmed. I dined here with 3 friends and we were all on holiday in CPT. We had to book 2 months in advance and were given an 8:30 seating. I don’t generally like eating so late but it was small tapas-like servings so... More

From the glass lift to the top of the Silo from where you get terrific views, to the charming car attendant, this was a happy experience. Good knowledgeable waiting staff and excellent tapas in good sharing portions. Great wine list but overpriced. There is a long waiting list for tables over weekends. Not sure why as there are equally good... More

Exceptional does not come close at describing the eating experience of dining at Pot Luck Club. Rising in the glass elevator to the restaurant is magical as you watch Cape Town fall below you. The restaurant has a fantastic mix of textures from the ultra-modern sleek to the rustic roughness of the clay water tumblers. This is truly an eating... More

Make your reservation now - before you leave the States cause this small spectacular eatery is booked well in advance. And I understand why. This restaurant takes the tapas dinner trend and raises it to an all-time level of excellence. Innovative use of ingredients, combinations that i wouldn't dream of in my kitchen, and presentation that is pure art. Fish... More

Great food, great service I really appreciated that the wait staff would advise you correctly about what to order and the proportions to order. The food was really nice with a great Asian touch to it! The fish tacos are awesome and so was the smoked steak dish!

Great meal at The Pot Luck Club. Amazing food with inventive but not off-putting food. Loved the cocktails, especially the Thai Green Curry martini. Nice atmosphere, lively scene.

I've tried to reserve a table at The Pot Luck during a previous visit to Cape Town and it was full. On this trip, we went at lunch time as it was fully booked for dinner several weeks ahead. It was soon obvious why it is so popular. It's very high quality tapas style eating, similar to Fork, which is... More

We were recommended this restaurant by several friends and were not disappointed! Book plenty of time ahead as they book up quick - we booked about 2 months out for a Friday in off-peak season and could only get the early sitting! Serving food tapas style, you choose a selection of diverse and incredibly tasty dishes to share - the... More
