Best place for tea and light lunch at the Waterfront

This cafe is beautifully decorated with bright velvet chairs and chandeliers. The tea cups and teapots are very stylish too. It's on the upper floor of the V&A Waterfront which is much more peaceful than the ground floor. Even on a busy Sunday it was an oasis of calm. On one visit we had the carrot... read more

Saturday morning shopping at the V&A waterfront is not the same without a mid-morning tea or coffee at Myatt Cafe!!! Stylishly decorated with chandeliers & bright pink & turquoise velvet chairs, tiered selections of decadent Belgian chocolates, pastries, profiteroles & meringue baskets ...It is like being Alice in wonderland !!! I ordered a Cappucchino & rose & chocolate macaroons!! The... More

I had a coconut macaroon, that didn't taste like coconut at all. I asked for some tea to share with my friend, they refused to bring a second cup and said that tea is not to be shared when ordered. I have had a terrible experience, what a pity for such a lovely looking place. Cakes look lovely, and are... More

I really enjoy going to Myatt. It's a time out in an otherwise busy Waterfront. The food is never disappointing, but lately (and especially on my last visit at the weekend) the service levels have not been up to its usual good standard. There is often the excuse that they're under staffed so maybe the owners need to fix this.... More

This is my go-to spot in CT for some tea and cake. The place is beautifully decorated and the crockery is some of the prettiest things. Their meals are quite overpriced. I had the most expensive sandwich of my life there. It's also in one of the quieter spots at the Waterfront. The macaroons and chocolates are divine. Highly recommend... More

I had the crumpets and they were very good. The atmosphere is unique, reminded us of Alice in Wonderland. Located in the mall and was recommended by a local friend.

We decided to pop into this Cafe and Chocolatier purely because it caught our eye for being beautiful and it reminded us of the cute little patisseries that you find in Europe. Looks can be extremely deceiving as we found out in this case. As everyone knows, you don't go into a steakhouse seeking gourmet vegetarian meals. In this case... More

This very small but ideally located restaurant is a favourite. It is completely glass enclosed on the top level on the V&A Waterfront, inside the shopping area and offers good quality food. Ideal place to drop in for a quick cup of coffee and a bite to eat during your day out the Waterfront. Note, as it is inside, there... More

Food is good. Trio of mini burgers with chips and salads as well as roast beef sandwiches are good and if you are a salmon lover this is also well presentedon a sandwich with salad and very tasty. Sandwiches are halaal. Desserts are awsome. Macaroons are good. Also a variety of chocolates and truffles. High tea also served. This eatery... More

In the middle of a busy mall is an oasis with one of the most unusual decor ideas i have ever seen in a coffee shop Friendly, welcoming staff who are attentive and always smiling. Delicious cakes that should realy come with a health warning The coconut cake with ganache and a swirl of meringue was to die for The... More
